Hardly a surprise: During a recent meeting with the nation’s governors, President Obama made clear his top priority, which is to make sure that the governors don’t go talking out of turn or criticizing his policies in any way. Texas Gov. Rick Perry saw no reason to keep this a secret, and as you can see here, he didn’t:

Reagan has stated that his getting duped on amnesty was a mistake.
There is no common sense to amnesty, whether involving dreamers or this latest batch of invaders.
That Perry said anyone who wasn’t for it lacked compassion was incredibly offensive.

My problem with Perry is that he let seobarkah put his hands all over him on that tarmac shot I saw.
I’d hold truck with this enemy islamist homosexual for the sake of being a governor, I guess. But I’d be damned if I’d ever let him touch me.
There will be nobody confronting the WH, so no response will be forthcoming.
I don’t hear any Border state Governor other than Perry calling for action on the border.
What action, exactly, is he calling for?
He called for illegal aliens to receive in-State tuition. He got that.
He called for amnesty and citizenship for illegals.
He called for not verifying citizenship for those working for the State. He got that.
He called for the trans-Texas superhighway from Mexico into the US.
In other words, he calls for providing illegal aliens and Mexico all kinds of benefits to entice them to come here then pretends to send 1,000 people to the border to do nothing. You will find they will not turn away any significant portion of illegal aliens.
He is asking to deploy the TNG on the border even as we speak.
In state tuition? You know it was not possible for him to veto it and under stand why the TX congress thought it was reasonable.
TTC? you know that is already in the law under NAFTA.

It has been done time and time again here on FR.
I will say this, tearing down folks like Perry is how we got Obama.
