The chairman of the Republican Governors Association (RGA) is refusing to campaign for the GOP's nominee for New York governor.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who is heading the GOP's gubernatorial efforts across the nation, was campaigning in Connecticut when reporters asked him whether he would campaign on behalf of Rob Astorino in his race against sitting New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

According to Christie, the answer is a nearly-unqualified no.

I guess Christie feels he must bend over for Cuomo and let Cuomo do a job on him...

Kris Krispy Kreme is actually a Democrat, so this makes total sense.

Why not? Christie supported Obama JUST BEFORE
the 2012 Election, improving his CRED in the GOP.

How do we know Astorino wants Christie to campaign for him?

Maybe Astorino doesn't want Christie's stench anywhere near him.

Good point!

But at least the head of RGA (Republican Governors Association) should at least offer to campaign for him.

Astorino is a pro-lifer. Clearly, Christie is pro-abortion.

So maybe Baby Killing is more important to Christie...

Maybe this just proves that the RGA (Republican Governors Association) is a joke set up by the GOP-e (GOP establishment)

It the guy running for governor of NY were to campaign in Denny’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, and burger joints near the New Jersey-New York border, it would look as if Christie were campaigning with him.

Just proves that if Christie runs for the GOP nomination, it’s only to fulfill the role of turd in the punchbowl.

I was glad to hear Sean Hannity talk about this on his radio show today.

Christie IS helping other GOP gubernatorial candidates, including one all the way in California. But he can’t help out Astorino in NY?

People are saying that Christie and Andrew Cuomo must have some kind of sweetheart deal.

It’s Christie’s job. If he doesn’t want to do his job, he should resign.

Rob Asterino was way behind in the polls when running for Westchester County Executive, but ended up winning in a LANDSLIDE!

Don’t underestimate Astorino!

PLUS, even the NYTimes had a negative front-page story on Cuomo, I think yesterday. I smell corruption - BIG TIME!

Governors Jindal, Pence, Perry and more are supporting Astorino.

I think Pro-Lifers need to attack Gov. Cuomo by going to the Catholic Churches of Albany and those in New York City, and having signs:

People who KILL BABIES and HAVE LIVE IN GIRL FRIENDS should be ex-communicated

This is one case, I don't mind picketing outside Catholic Churches. Make this a National News Story, and the Catholic Church might be forced to act.

Additionally, it might wake up Catholics/Christians that voting for Mario Cuomo is a SERIOUS SIN.

The fact that Mario Cuomo is such a horrible example of a Catholic and is Governor, there should be pressure on ex-communicating him.

Having pro-lifers picket Catholic Churches in Albany and New York City might wake up some folks to how sinful this man is.

He has a LIVE IN GIRLFRIEND and HE IS AN ARDENT BABY KILLER.

Cristy Creme was a horrible choice to head the RGA, he only cares about his own fat @$$, just look at his speech at the convention, it’s like he thought he was accepting the nomination.

He is not however, pro-abortion.

I will never forget how the convention speech was about him.

Maybe he’s not pro-abortion, but he doesn’t have the passion for the life issue.
