With immigration reform these children would arrive in a safe and orderly way.
So in his mind immigration reform will eliminate the illegal immigration problem by making everyone already here legal and everyone who wants to come in the future will be allowed so legally, i.e., de jure open borders.
I wonder what Ramos would say if someone started chartering planes and ships and bringing everyone everyone who wants to come to the US from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Subcontinent. According to Ramos they should all be let in.

I vote for sealing the borders and deportation of all illegal aliens. No mass deportations, ONE AT A TIME until they are all gone. Make it a felony to hire an illegal alien. PROBLEM SOLVED.
So why are the governments of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, etc. actively participating in the deportation of their children?

Why is what Jorge Ramos says “news”? Other than shooting his mouth off about how the whole world should be allowed into the US to live off the US taxpayer’s dime, why should we have to read what he says? Besides, he is not saying anything new. Its the same old BS about how we should pay for the world’s children if they manage to make it to US soil.
They don't look like children, from the pictures I've seen.
If tens of thousands of parents are willing to pay coyotes and bribes to the Mexican government (nothing crosses Mexico without paying the mordida) and then get their kids shipped back to them within a month, getting nothing for all of the money they spent they will stop sending them. They are spending a considerable amount of money to ship the kids north and will soon stop making this bad investment if they get nothing for their money.
No government should allow smuggling of children across their territory!
Why aren't they turned back by Mexico?
Think about it, why, under any sort of rational “reform,” you would ever invite or permit unaccompanied minors. By definition, they are just going to be a burden. If an immigrant is of laboring age, even if they don’t have any education you can still argue they could be cheap/slave labor. But not kids.
The Clinton Administration had no problem deporting a child.
