Russia dismisses accusations Ukrainian separatists shot down Flight MH17 [it's not their fault]

Russia’s Defence Ministry dismissed accusations on Monday that pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine’s east were at fault for shooting down a Malaysia Airlines jet last week, alleging instead that Ukrainian warplanes had been flying close to the plane.

The ministry also denied accusations that Russia had supplied the separatists with SA-11 Buk anti-aircraft missile systems – which are known as “Gadfly” in NATO – or “any other weapons.”

“Russian air space control systems detected a Ukrainian Air Force plane, presumably an SU-25 (fighter jet), scrambling in the direction of the Malaysian Boeing,” Lieutenant-General Igor Makushev of Russia’s Air Forces told a news briefing. “The distance of the SU-25 plane from the Boeing was from 3 to 5 kilometres (2 to 3 miles).”

The ministry’s comments came as the Netherlands announced that prosecutors had opened an investigation into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, which claimed the lives of all 298 people on board, 193 of whom were Dutch citizens

Ok Chip...you’ve decided to ignore those trying to help you be current

Gosh what would I do without your help???

Does that mean that all the stuff the Russian-backed looters took the last 4 days will be returned???

And that big crane -- who was operating that?? It sure was making a mess of things.

Did Borodai and the 2 Igors get all the missile parts and shrapnel they wanted or do they need more time???

Maybe now that you're not helping me you can help them with that.

Here you go caww — news from the crime scene:

Cockpit of MH17 found ‘sawn in half at spot cordoned off by pro-Russian separatists for two days after attack’

International monitors, who only recently gained access to the site, discovered the cockpit of the plane apparently cut in half with diesel-powered saws.

Michael Bociurkiw, spokesman for the group of international monitors from the Organize for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), told USA Today:

‘The rear part of the aircraft, one of the biggest intact pieces, has definitely been hacked into’.

Officials investigating the incident believe large parts of the cockpit and every part of the fuselage were carried off questioning why such important pieces of evidence were tampered with.

Associated Press reporting the US has decided that the Russian government had nothing to do with plane being downed.

I replied to "everybody's a liar" argument few days ago, #11

What is the Ukrainian lie that is even remotely comparable to the stuff Russia puts out?

In case you speak the language, here's an article

You need to see Putin pressing the button to be fully convinced. Russian colonels, Russian tanks and weapons pushing the Russian agenda is not enough.

Nah...I know who Putin is and what he’s reaching for....same with Obama and the Eu....they are all playing high stakes poker and frankly Obama is, and has been, loosing the game because Putin has the cards in his pocket and will use them only when it’s necessary..OBama just waves the cards around trying to look like he’s got them.......

So thus ‘today’ we have Obama shutting down real fast from blaming Russia ......Funny how this comes the day after Russia sent their video of their “Official” assessment presentation to Obama, and all the world leaders. Am thinking this may have been a checkmate on Obama for it certainly raised many questions....one regarding CIA in Ukraine....the rest is on the video.

As we spoke before...it isn’t the US has decided...Obama had no choice unless he wanted his butt in a sling...and Russia wouldn’t be the one doing it.
