Is Chris Christie the Democrats' favorite Republican?
The Christian Science Monitor ^ | July 18, 2014 | Peter Grier

[...] But new polls indicate that his longtime major political weakness has not gone away: Republicans do not entirely trust him, seeing him as a liberal Northeasterner in an increasingly conservative party.

Meanwhile, Christie remains the Democrats’ favorite possible GOP candidate. That could help him in a general election. However, he has to win over Republicans to win primaries before he could reach the mountain of a November vote.

A Gallup survey out Friday has numbers that show what we mean. In the crowded field of possible Republican presidential candidates, from Mike Huckabee to Rick Santorum to Scott Walker, Christie has lowest favorability rating among Republican voters. [...]

I’ve said some funny things at your expense….you didn’t like them.

But by the way….have I ever said in a post that I was brilliant or witty? I mean, you keep saying that I claim that, but can you find where I ever claimed it?

I didn’t think so…..

I may be a jerk, but I easily qualify for Mensa, and I most certainly do know what Im talking about - you have no idea. NO idea - where my thoughts and opinions are heard. My ghost writing client list would blow you totally away.

Here you go...your words...but I have seen no evidence of any of it. I'm not calling you a liar...I haven't seen any thing impressive from you. You don't get that your cutting remarks say more about YOU than the people you verbally attack.

You are a jerk. Are you sure you're not Bill Mahar?

I never denied the jerk thing, and as for Mensa, that was simply a statement of fact. Go back, set down your estrogen driven emotion, and re read it as simply a statement of fact. I wondered years ago, so I checked it.

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars Don’t waste your time.
This was just... rather awful. Save your money.

As books go, this was just a rather bad pile of word-jumble

Examples: you might be a liberal "If your answer is hire more teachers, firefighters, and cops, regardless of what the question is...If you thought Obama was going to buy gas to put in your car...If you hate corporations but love unions...If you've ever worn Birkenstocks to a formal..." and on and on. The book is filled with gems like these.

This is supposed to be funny and/or entertaining?

Sorry Charlie.

The 1.0 stars were liberal troll reviewers. I figured that would escape you.

It wouldn't surprise me if you or your friends wrote the 4 & 5 star reviews.

The excerpts I read weren't worth repeating. I've read better on FR.

Between 1998 and 2000 there were some really good thinkers and writers on FR. Several had published novels. Tony Snow and Barbara Olson (BKO on FR). They have passed on..one way or another..Now it's primarily articles from DRUDGE. In the past there was a lot of original stuff...and it was common to see FReepers interviewed on TV.

BTW, I have friends who have had books sold and reviewed on Amazon.

Can you come up with something original here? False pride is unbecoming and you have an abundance. A lot of people are impressive..."you ain't one."

Look Cruella - you are really bitter. I could spit out an Ann Coulter novel or a Dennis Miller monologue or a Rush Limbaugh sarcastic analogy - and since it was from me, you wouldn’t like it. And if you did, with your pride, you would never admit it.

By the way, I’ve written for one of the above 3, and all 3 have cited my work publicly more than once - But alas, I’m sure you’re very much more discerning than those three.

And you couldn’t answer my question…..A or B….I mean, either you are being a b-tch or the point was over your head. Pick one, it has to be one of the two.

You mean in all your wisdom you haven't figured out that I've been playing you for the fool I think you are? Because...

Your MO is to brag on yourself while you belittle and ridicule others. You project your disgusting attitude onto others.

You are not a nice person.

Look Cruella - you are really bitter. I could spit out an Ann Coulter novel or a Dennis Miller monologue or a Rush Limbaugh sarcastic analogy - and since it was from me, you wouldn’t like it. And if you did, with your pride, you would never admit it.

This is another example of your projection, ridiculing others while bragging on yourself.

Me, bitter? No, you projecting.

"With your pride" ... what have I bragged about? I have no claims to fame. Again, you project.

By the way, I’ve written for one of the above 3, and all 3 have cited my work publicly more than once -

You seem to think you ARE all 3! My guess is that none of the 3 are the arrogant a$$hole you are on a one to one.

The only one of the 3 I listen to these days is Rush and anybody could write for him because his success is in the delivery.

My guess is Dennis Miller. I like him but I don't listen to him on BOR anymore because it's like a verbal assault...he talks so fast without taking a breath. I don't like his delivery. He seems scripted.

Ann Coulter lost me with Chris Christie. Her opinion isn't worth 2 cents any more.

But alas, I’m sure you’re very much more discerning than those three.

What all 3 of them understand, that you apparently don't get, is their success or failure depends on how "discerning" is their audience...

Why you don't have one of your own.

Pundits aren't important.

Plumbers are important.

When your plumbing backs up, you don't call a pundit...or a ghostwriter.

Plumbers are important.!
