There are some House Congressional members that need to be included there.

Elijah Cummings for one.

TALKING POINTS---IRS Sharing Personal Income Tax Information with the Census Bureau
American Thinker ^ | 7/18/2014 | Kenneth H. Ryesky / FR Posted by markomalley

There are many compelling reasons to engage in genealogical and family history research, whether for personal curiosity or for establishing one's legal status and rights. One useful resource in such research is the United States Census. The decennial enumerations of each household are embargoed for 72 years, and their release to the public is invariably greeted with avid popularity.

Interesting census information from the past has included place of birth, occupation, naturalization status and date for immigrants, and native language. But now, the census is about to get a little more interesting.

In order to design more efficient procedures for the upcoming 2020 census, the Department of Commerce wants to mine some data from our Form 1040 Income Tax returns and related documents. Specifically, the Census people over in the Commerce Department desire, among other things, names and Taxpayer Identification Numbers of mortgage interest payers and payees.

The Internal Revenue Service has accordingly proposed a regulation to facilitate the request from Commerce; meanwhile, it is operating under a verbatim temporary regulation to accommodate the Census Bureau's request. (Excerpt) Read more at americanthinker.com ...

DO NOT EVER FORGET....THE KINGPINS OF CHICAGO CRIMINAL POLITICS IN OUR WH wasted no time.....they had a stranglehold on the Census (AND US Treasury) from day one.

The minute Obama/Valerie/Rahm/Axelrod/Geithner, and that diseased bunch of criminals, landed in the WH they did two things that were apparently crucial to their evil plans

(a) they took control of the US Census;

(b) Obama placed his COS Rahm Emanuel in control of the US Dept of the Treasury (the IRS).

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings of the Treasury that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Reported by WSJ / 05/31/09

More here: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124113406528875137.html

The connection between the IRS targeting and the WH's malevolent parasites at Treasury becomes clearer.

================================================

THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD shortly after quitting his powerful WH job as Obama's COS, Rahm held a presser declaring he "just remembered" he really, Really wanted to be Mayor of Chicago. Then Rahm announced he had magically "raised" $10 million for his campaign in "just a matter of weeks." (waiting for hysterical laughter to die down). Ya gotta wonder how much Wall Street Rahm wired offshore when Obama put him in charge of the entire US Treasury.

Since the House republicans haven’t taken the actions that you’ve correctly suggested to force the IRS to cooperate, one must, therefore, conclude that House republicans really aren’t all that serious about fixing the problem.

A flat tax does NOT dismantle the IRS. A Fair Tax would do a somewhat better job of doing that.

The **best** way is a 50 State tax. There would be no IRS whatsoever. Each governor would receive a tax bill from the feds once a year. The size of the bill would be calculated by the number of citizens over the age of 18. Each state would figure out how to collect it. With 50 experiments, the least expensive to the state and citizen, most business friendly, and compassionate would emerge.

I think they’re just askeered of what the press will say about them if they do.

Jeff Merkeley D from OR also signed the Chuck Shumer letter to the IRS to go after 501c4 applications from teaparty groups. Merkely is running for re-election against a pediatric neuro surgeon, Monica Wehby, yes a woman. Her motto is “Keep your Doctor, Change your Senator.”

Like the idea. But could we include "residents" over 18 as instead of just "citizens"? You know, legal and illegal aliens included.
