The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has published the intercepted talks of members of illegal armed groups, in which one of them reports to another on the downed plane in eastern Ukraine, which proved to be civil.

At 1633, a militant nicknamed "Major" reports to another militant nicknamed "Greek" on the downed plane.

"The plane was shot down by those who are at the Chornukhyne roadblock [in Luhansk region]... The Cossacks who are at Chornukhyne. The plane has fallen apart in the air, near the Petropavlivska mine. We've found the first 'Cargo 200' (corpse). It was a woman. It's a civil [aircraft]," he said.

First, the NSA can cut and splice their reams recorded calls, and produce a tape to demonstrate those folks are doing everything, including drowning kittens

I do not believe the Russians have anything to gain. The Russians do not need to fight and defeat the Ukraine. Paperwork and agreements for the Plan B pipeline are complete. The Russians are ascending. They have agreed to sell fuel to China, without using the USD. The Russians are expanding their influence through out the middle east.

Opportunity is important, but motive is key to solving who caused this awful loss of life.

Who wins, who loses???
Why is the WH, Rats and RINO’s all screaming Act of War?
Never let an opportunity go to waste???

There is no conspiracy here Steven. None.

This is a massive F’up by the separatists who just days ago shot a Ukrainian Air Force cargo plane out of the sky with the same missile system.

As much as I think Obama stinks and is evil, he’s not smart enough to be part of what would be a very difficult and even masterful conspiracy.

Occam’s razor. What is the simplest logical rationale is almost always the reason.

Attributing this to an Obama-led conspiracy against the Russians is almost on the same level as the 9/11 Truthers who thing Bush and Cheney planned 9/11 to get Saddam Hussein’s oil.

The Buk radar system would tell the operators that the plane was over SIX MILES UP.
They knew what it was when they fired.
NOT an accident.

I'll remind you that the U.S. ACCIDENTALY shot down an Iranian airliner a few years back with a sophisticated antiaircraft system. When you think you're under attack, things can get confusing.

I doubt that any of the three parties shot it down deliberately because I can't see any motive.

They deliberately shot it down thinking it was an Antonov. They were not looking to shoot down a civilian plane. That’s what happened when we shot down the Iranian plane too. We thought it was a military aircraft. It wasn’t. It was still very deliberate.

“Opportunity is important, but motive is key to solving who caused this awful loss of life.”

The shoot down was not the product of a national command decision. It was likely not even ordered by anyone. The Buk SA-17 system can track, target, engage and shoot down aerial targets up to 20 Km altitude from within the vehicle’s crew cab.

As the excerpted communication shows it was some Cossacks at a check point who fired the missile.

The motive and decision was likely nothing more than:

“Push button, kill fascist aircraft”

I have no doubt they meant to fire and take the plane down. But my objection is that they knew it was civilian. They were just stupid enough to believe it was Ukrainian. The fact that it was civilian didn’t even enter their minds at the time.

There is an article on the Daily Mail, UK, that mentions how over 300 commercial flights cross the Ukraine on a daily basis, so it’s not like the Russian air defense screw ups didn’t see radar images all the time.

“coulda/woulda/shoulda” is always a hindsight reaction. They F’d up, big time. They should be made to pay—somehow. Losing the war would be one way. Time for Russia to de-escalate things and call off their dogs, and let the Ukrainians settle this peacefully.

And TWA Flight 800 was a center fuel tank explosion.

Huh?

So you dismiss what I’m saying? No thought but to bring up TWA 800?

Well, I guess I can’t argue with THAT logic. Good one!

Bingo!! The Russkies are going to take it in the shorts, because it was their Buk system and their people who fired the missile without confirming their target. It was reckless.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I am not advocating a conspiracy!
I agree this is a massive F’up.
Many airplanes fly over the territory, staying at least 31,000 feet up. How the soldiers are able to pick out a cargo plane 30,000 feet up, then confuse a civilian plane for a Ukraine army cargo plane is a F’up.

My rant is more about 0bama’s posturing between fundraising and non-help since the war started.
I stand skeptical about any voice recordings that point to some conclusion

Agreed. But, Russia does not need the Ukraine. Agreements are in place for a plan B pipeline which circumvents the Ukraine.

A solution is to ramp up shale oil/gas extraction, and ship that fuel to Europe. Undercut the Russians. Share the technology with the Poles and Germans so they can exploit their shale formations, if any.
