Okay, I’d pay to keep hollywood in hollywood. I’d pay more if it moved out of the country completely.
Through these initiatives leftists seem to implicitly understand how low taxes create jobs. Yet they simultaneously vote for politicians who espouse contradicting policies.

They only want certain types of jobs. They also want the power to decide who gets jobs and who gets subsidies. Dirty jobs like power plants, no incentive. Garage? Forget about it. But something sexy! Oh, my!
So the 99% of California has to subsidize the 1% Hollywood multimillionaires. Makes sense to me.

I live near New Orleans. We are experiencing a boom in the movie making industry. Hollywood can go pound sand.
They need to raise taxes on Hollywood, make them pay their fair share.

the same politicians that drove out all major industry from Southern California by high taxes will pamper Hollywood by cutting sweetheart deals because there the glamor industry that strokes the politician's egos.

They tax the business or person extremely high if they are an enemy then they tax business or person be extremely low if they are allies you see all these business people that for more scream for more taxes?..its not asking for more taxes on themselves they're asking for more taxes on the competition

Loved it when that leftist idiot Kevin Costner, who’s “all Hollywood all the time” made his Hatfield/McCoy thing a couple of years ago......and shot the entire thing someplace in eastern Europe to save bucks and avoid taxes.
Sacramento is starting to figure out their fat bloated tax paid incomes and pensions are at risk if they continue their reckless punitive tax policies.
Tax everyone to the point of ruin, and then give special tax breaks to the chosen winners.
Bust up the unions. It’s the big reason film production goes elsewhere.
