Why Holder remark made white people mad
CNN ^ | updated 5:18 PM EDT, Mon July 14, 2014 | Dorothy A. Brown

On ABC's "This Week" on Sunday, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who happens to be black, suggested that opposition to him and President Barack Obama in part is due to racial animus. For that, he has been vilified.

He has been accused of trying to scare people to the polls (as if listening to the evening news wouldn't already do that), stoking racial divisions and throwing down the race card. And he is asked rhetorically "is it possible to oppose Obama and not be a racist?"

The response to the attorney general's words has been very heated, and there is an obvious explanation.

"This Week" allowed many whites to hear what a black man is thinking about race. Most whites don't know because most whites don't have interracial conversations about race. To be fair, neither do most blacks. It's just that we know what other blacks are thinking because, well, we talk to other blacks about race.

But we all know they don’t. No calls for impeachment from the likes of Boehner.

they don’t care about this country. They care about their power.

...U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who happens to be black,...

Who HAPPENS to be Black?

Really? That is ALL Holder is about!

"Hey, look everybody, I'm BLACK, I can do or say whatever I want and no one can criticize me, because, well,

I'm BLACK!

shucks... Let's just be honest. Color does not describe a human being. I know caucasians who are darker than some negroids and vice versa.

We are of different races and we are different. Period.

I believe the term is hedcut, drawing with little dots like you see in the Wall Street Journal. If it were all about color and the only color ink used is black, how can you tell what race someone is from those drawings?

Guess my race

black teenager in St. Louis who died from it in the late 1960s. The doctors were mystified about his illness, and he was uncommunicative, so they saved a sample of his blood, and when the AIDS epidemic exploded they had it tested and found that he had had AIDS.

Wow. I hadn't heard that. Would be very interested if you can remember the source of this info.

I can't take this crap anymore. It's utter garbage.

No need to. Laugh and point. Ridicule the racist communist pissants, regardless of color.

If they really want to be taken seriously, they will need to start talking like humans.

It was in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, probably sometime in the 1990s--I saw it in the Newspaper Library at the University of Illinois (before it was moved to its new location). Sorry I can't narrow it down further...and I don't remember the boy's name.

My dogs; individually and collectively are a hell of a lot more conservative, and more brilliant than Hugh Hewitt.

I wonder are any of the Black Power folks thinking Holder is too?

Course we ain't never gone a hear that...nor will we ever here the "black" community blame Hussein for his white side..............

Wouldn’t doubt it for a second. I am a pretty omnivorous reader and took a lot of classes in public health and epidemiology (quite a few years ago), just after the AIDS virus was identified.
There were several articles related to diseases and deaths that had gone unidentified since the mid to late fifties in France and England. The deaths were mainly among merchant marine sailors and some junior military personnel. Blood and tissue samples had been kept for future identification if possible; when tested in the early 90’s because of similar case histories they were found to contain AIDS virus and antibodies.
Modern transportation and changing social practices seems in my opinion to have let this killer out of the bottle.

I wish that you were right, but no. Blacks still think about race a lot, and nothing is their fault.

Not all blacks, of course, but more than enough of them to matter.

We whites are fortunate to have such a “black voice” of “expertise” to tell us that we are the problem and have no legitimate reason beyond racism to be critical of Eric Holder.

You can use the same excuse over and over again,
but successes are expected to garner other successes.
