The Best Worst President Ever (Suicide-prevention meds required!)
Hearst Connecticut Media Group - Newstimes ^ | July 12, 2014 | Mark Morford

Posted on 07/12/2014 12:11:11 PM PDT by SuperLuminal

“Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this country,” declares the wealthy, rakish, silver-haired Newport Beach white guy to his small group of perfectly tanned 50-something females sitting just a few feet away from us at a stunning restaurant patio overlooking the sun-kissed California coastline, just off of Highway 1, as he sipped his pinot and adjusted his wraparound Ray Bans, flush from the economy’s spectacular recovery that has benefitted his exact demographic most of all, stroking his purebred dog and taking various selfies with their $500 phones, oblivious to the furious swirls of irony and hypocrisy fluttering just above their heads.

........

"I’ve heard Mr. Newport Beach’s bizarre lament a thousand times, but I’ve yet to see a solid batch of evidence that proves Obama’s outright failure, or the nation’s savage decline.

.......

"The bottom line seems obvious: Much to the GOP’s bitter revulsion, it turns out a calm, intellectual black man really can run an entire country – certainly far better than an inarticulate Texas bumbler, and even in the face of what is easily the most obstructionist, hateful, acidic and often downright racist Congress in modern memory. Quite an achievement, really."

Now I’m the first to admit I’m the run-on sentence queen, but the opening sentence to this article beats anything I’ve rambled, hands down!

The other day I was having a hotdog at a great Chicago joint when my friend and I both agreed that Democrats have ruined every city they’ve run. The fellow at the next table looked our way and harrumphed. We asked him what he meant by that. He said, “I’ll just leave it at that.”

They’ve got nothing. Obama’s brought the Cook County politics and economics to the nation. If I were Romney I would have filmed in every run down neighborhood, every pothole, every crumbling bridge and ran that over and over again. We need a fighter at the top of the ticket - one who knows how to win.

His topics vary from sex and deviance to . . . spirituality

Which to the Left is the same thing.

You are absolutely correct that the fracking boom is enabling the energy sector to do well, - and frankly has probably prevented catastrophic damage to the entire economy if we were still substantially dependent on imported oil.

Clinton likes to point out the economic success of the country under his administration, yet he likewise was the recipient of two factors for which he had no responsibility propping up the economy during his time in office.

First was the peace dividend - thanks to Reagan and Bush our enemies were so weakened we could cut back on defense spending - and Clinton overdid it to leave us in a weakened position leading to 9/11, but no one (in the media) ever puts the pieces together.

The second was the technology boom, largely driven by Y2K leading to vast efforts to update software and systems, along with a very shortened cycle of upgrading computer hardware to ensure there would be no problems - both by businesses and individuals. This created a vast boom at least as effective as fracking to help the economy.

So while Clinton was able to greatly reduce defense spending (short term solution that costs us greatly in the long term) while revenues were enhanced with a one-time technological need enabling a growing economy, Obama has done nothing but spend money while doing everything he can to hurt the economy. Bush had to deal with Clinton’s short sighted budget cuts and gets all the blame for both his predecessor’s ultimate result and his successor’s continuing failures.

Is Obama an enlightened being? / Spiritual wise ones say: This sure ain't no ordinary politician.

...

Here's where it gets gooey. Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul.

The unusual thing is, true Lightworkers almost never appear on such a brutal, spiritually demeaning stage as national politics. This is why Obama is so rare. And this why he is so often compared to Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to those leaders in our culture whose stirring vibrations still resonate throughout our short history.

"Nuff' said. "

Yep. However, his views are those of the majority of the populations in states like CT, MA, MD, RI, and CA.

This month I am faced with having to attend an annual in-laws summer picnic and come face-to-face with this kind of lunatic-fringe serfdom (About 175 of them). My t-shirt of choice this year is one from the "March For Justice" (Impeach Clinton on one side and him in a cell on other).

Last year someone "accidentally" spilled grape punch on my Sara Palin t-shirt. Fortunately, having mellowed in my 80th year, I refrained from "accidentally" retaliating with extreme force.

You can add a couple more things to that:

1. Clinton benefited from the Boomers being in their peak earning/spending years.

2. Restrained against himself by the Gingrich Congress.

3. Still affordable energy and fuel.

It's Morford. One of the most deviant, delusional individuals who ever wasted pixels. Those who recall his slop from 2008-2010 know what I mean.

This is, of course, all made up BS.

I think from now to Nov 2016 people should generally tune out the liberals and the president’s apologists and concentrate on finding the most effective replacement, followed by election of same.

Progressives will always be mega-stupid like this, the trick is to keep them in their little university ghettoes where they can do no actual harm except to those stupid enough to pay big money to receive their counsel.

"Instead of writing about stereotypical rich, white people, this writer should talk to Mr. Factory Worker or Mr. Coal Miner or Mr. Power Plant Worker and he could get plenty of evidence how the Obamaconomy has hurt real people."

What was the latest? About 92,000,000 people out of work. Of course it is easy to get the government unemployment figures down. The policy is that once your unemployment runs out you are no longer "unemployed".

Black unemployment is at historic levels...However the demoncrats will still get their votes+votes. (Here in MD, they get to vote in multiple locales with impunity)

Funny I was investigating a fellow yesterday who was black and charged with engaging in organized crime activity and ran smack dab ino his Facebook page online which had so much pro-Obama propaganda on it about how bad the white man has treated him it made me sick to my stomach. Let me tell you it took much restraint to keep from posting what a hypocrite, thief, and idiot he was online and exposing him for what he really is. I can’t do that type of thing for many reasons but the thought sure did cross my mind...: )

Is the author black? He seems to really hate white people.

Nobody can hate whites as much as a white liberal.

If they were a sex, they would have an operation.

Don’t forget the “Mend it, don’t end it” welfare reform Congress forced on him.

Nothing like reversing tax consumers into tax payers.

A twofer, if you will.

The problem is that these otherwise successful, reasonably intelligent, influential people absolutely, positively, beyond the shadow of a doubt believe this ... that obama is the most gifted, the most compassionate, the most selfless, (hang on now!) the most honest president we have ever have.

They really, truly believe this! I find it amazing ... but this is what the secular-religion of the Democrat-Socialists and the Left -- desperate for a savior -- does to a person. It's truly a cult in every sense of the word.

This piece almost reads like satire, because when you strip away the stereotypes and insults, there really are left two themes:

1. That Obama has been very good mainly for the rich. And,
2. Some of those rich are willing to put the rest of the country ahead of their own benefits to get rid of him.

That’s what I got from this failed propaganda.

As long as you keep showing up at the unemployment office, you stay on the unemployed rolls forever. But, after two years, they’re going to suggest that you are possibly too depressed to work anymore and maybe you have some fibromyalgia or back pain too, so go and get on disability and then *POOF* you disappear from the labor force forever!

They must live sheltered lives not to see the obvious signs of economic woe--the huge number of vacant stores, the length of time people keep their cars on the road, the food pantries running out of food, the huge numbers of people using food stamps. I see it. I'm living it.

The brazen and massive dishonesty of this screed is astounding. Every single word is a lie of one type or another. It’s a black hole in words.

Yep! Carefully crafted and endlessly repeated by each and every Politburo member and their Izvestia mouth pieces...
