Is this another one of those “we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it” tricks? All I’ve heard is that he wants money, but what’s the plan? How is this plan going to fix the border situation? Anyone?

Obama was put into office to promote a United-Nations based global government with the United States as nothing more than a third-rate client state. He has succeeded at this beyond what I could have ever imagined. I believe the goal of the current crisis which he is orchestrating is to bring about United Nations control of our borders and the stationing of UN troops throughout the country. A permanent Progressive- voting underclass will be a side benefit.

Obama is many things, but I only wish that he was incompetent.

As far as I’ve read it’s only about more money. I did see a couple days ago that when the amount almost doubled from the original bill there was $600 Mil put in for firefighting in (California?)

Haven’t followed up but if true it’s just another 0bama/Rat slush fund, IMO.

Obama is a total loser, but he is getting his face in front of a camera and using the bully pulpit. What, exactly, is the GOP doing? We barely hear a peep out of them, despite the fact that they have many things going their way, including public opinion. But apparently, defeating conservatives is more important to them than actually exploiting an advantage they now have over Obama. Boehner can join Obama in the Total Losers' Club.

.... As far as why the Prez didn't want to go to the border is concerned .... He declared on Wednesday that "He wasn't interested in a photo op at the border."

..... Yup..... I actually think he was telling the truth on that one. My guess is that he does not want any photos on the historical record taken of him at the border because he knows that there is something coming as a result of all of this that he does not want to be blamed for. In an effort to maintain his reputation and to deflect blame, He will need plausible deniability to be able to throw a person or group under the bus for whatever event that he already knows is coming as a result of this border surge.
