Gen. Michael Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency and CIA, said the constant flow of illegal immigrants should be treated like an insurgency.
"It's not an insurgency. I mean an insurgency has a political aim to overthrow the government," Hayden said on Newsmax TV's "America's Forum." "This is a criminal enterprise that's so big and so powerful that as a byproduct, it actually threatens the government."

"The way you go after an insurgency is number one, decapitate it, number two, deny it safe haven, and number three, change the facts on the ground that create the insurgency," he said.
"We've actually done reasonably well with step one in cooperation with the Mexican government in terms of decapitating the movement of the drug cartels, but we really haven't done much with the other two steps," Hayden said.

I don’t hear this mentioned too often, but isn’t it the case that in addition to the tens of thousands that have aleady poured in, more are coming in daily, and that many more are in transit in Mexico toward the border? And Obama has done nothing to induce (more properly, force) the Mexicans to stem the flow.
Yes, exactly. There are over 50K illegal youts here plus other thousands of Dreamers with them. It is logical that many thousands more of Dreamers are on their way. The Mahdi may either be the great puppet master or the Magician's Apprentice who has started something he can't begin to control. Either way a real invasion is underway. It is still mostly unarmed but it won't stay that way. The political class is stunned and because of cupidity and their sense of complacency won't start to stir until it is a really massive invasion in process.
All I have seen on tv and heard about are the kids that are detained, how many of the illegals have gotten in and not caught during this rush to get in? The BP has its hands full, and cannot even try to stop these fence jumpers from coming in..
