The defamation trial for former Gov. Jesse Ventura continues Wednesday with a videotaped deposition of the late author of "American Sniper" Chris Kyle.
Ventura claims Kyle defamed him in his autobiography by saying he knocked him down during a barroom incident in 2006 after Ventura allegedly made disparaging comments about Navy SEALs. Kyle referred to the man he punched as "Scruff Face" in the book but acknowledged in later interviews he meant Ventura.

Kyle flattened ventura in front of a dozen witnesses many of whom were later interviewed on numerous TV shows including Juraldo and O’Reilly. The witnesses all backed up Kyle’s version of the story.
Anybody who would sue Chris Kyle’s widow over something like this, or anything else, is lower than a snake’s belly.
Kyle is a genuine hero. Ventura knows he can’t measure up.
That said, ventura is a POS for continuing it and causing more grief, heartache and pain on Mrs. Kyle, the Children and the rest of the Relatives
I just hope the judge awards court costs to Mrs Kyle when Ventura loses this garbage lawsuit. What an abuse of the legal system.
I’m really hoping that the court’s decision leaves Jesse both embarrassed and destitute.
Yep, that was my understanding as well. There were witnesses who corroborated Kyle’s version, so why exactly is this even still in court?
Shouldn’t the judge have stated, “Mr. Ventura, Ms. Kyle’s LATE, DEAD husband has witnesses who agree with Mr. Kyle’s version; so don’t go away angry, just...uh...go away!”

I heard him promoting it on Dennis Miller one morning, and DM asked a question about an upcoming epi on the JFK's "magic bullet", and Ventura went nuts, hanging up on DM, instead of deflecting the question, and saying "...That's why you'll have to tune in find that out" or the like.
I had heard Arlen Specter fail in his attempt to explain the "magic bullet" theory, and Walter Isaacson actually explain what probably happened.
For Ventura to act like that is totally uncalled for.
He's been out in the Sun too long, or took too many 'roids over the years.

He said all of his TV shows/endorsements started dropping
like crazy- and he attributed this ALL to Kyle!???
He was not even named in the book— came out later in an
interview. He is Full of crap- don’t care if he made it
through BUDS- take a look on you tube.. kyle and former
Navy SEALS- talk about the TURDS who are technically
“SEALS” but are eventually booted back to the states-
Why TURDS-?— because you can never seem to flush
down the floaters
I have a very low opinion of Walter Isaacson, based on his book “The Wise Men”.

Jesse still thinks he’s in the world of wrestling.
For someone who has gone “off the grid”, he sure is out in public a lot.
