Harry Reid: ‘We’re Going to Do Something’ on Hobby Lobby Ruling

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid gave a strong indication today that the Democrats plan to take action on the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby ruling when he said on the Senate floor, “We’re going to do something about the Hobby Lobby legislation.” Reid mentioned this hope the Democrats have as he went through a laundry list of issues Democrats want to get done as the Senate continues its current session.

After the Supreme Court ruled last week, Reid reacted by saying, “If the Supreme Court will not protect women’s access to health care, then Democrats will.” Democrats have been mulling over several possible responses to the ruling, including amending the Religious Freedom Restoration Act so that corporations can’t be given those protections similar like individuals can.

Reactions to the ruling have come in by the score, including one federal judge telling the Supreme Court they should “STFU.”

Arrogant unConstitutional Bastard. Separation of Powers? Congressional hands off SCOTUS.

Just imagine Dingy Harry's reaction if George W. Bush had said ... "We're Going To Do Something on Rove v Wade Ruling ..."
