Unaccompanied children are crossing at an alarming rate, and now many will be heading to Dallas.

"We cannot turn our back on these children that are already here," Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said.

Judge Jenkins announced that Dallas County would be the first county in the state to offer housing.

Terry Henderson is in charge of disaster relief for the Texas Baptist Men.

He's been waiting an announcement like this for more than a month.

"I kind of had a heads up no matter where it was going to happen in Texas that we were going to be involved because we have already been involved along the border."

I hope the tithes and offerings of the Baptists are not going to pay for this...

Does “Texas Baptist” necessarily mean conservative? All Baptists aren’t conservative.

So...where is Ted Cruz on this?

Anyone connect the dots with cleaning service DTK and ERLC Russell Moore’s support of amnesty? Lots of churches use dtk and many of the employees I’ve seen cleaning can’t speak English.

Texas Baptist Men volunteer everywhere.

I said last week that, politics and policy and corruption aside, the best thing conservatives can do if we’re stuck with these illegals is to let them see our kindness and goodness and don’t let the libs paint us as Cruella DeVille.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit that a Christian group would step in here, showing the face of Jesus to kids who are being used as pawns by evil forces.

Read he article. Texas Baptist Men had a heads up for at least a month.

How much of that Federal(our) money is going into Terry Anderson's own pocket.

Baptist Children and Family Services is who's contreacted to take care of the illegals at Lackland, and I would guess other places, too. BCFS is global, if I usderstand correctly.

They are currently hiring nedical persons, and for other positions for San Antonio. I was wondering if they contracted after the January Job posting by the gov for 24/7 unaccompanied minors listing. Wsn't that osting for 68,000 unaccompanied minors?

This has been building for months. The border has been in crisis, and anyone associated with disaster relief has seen it coming.

I’m not Baptist. I do have experience in disaster relief.

We are all angry about this situation, but you’re taking your anger out on the wrong folks.

Texas Baptist men go where ever there is a need. Just like the OK, AR NM and TN Baptist men.

Aren’t they nice?

Have they read the constitution? It’s really a short document

Occasionally I send my parish priest a copy of the excerpt in the catechism which states that Catholics are not to aid and abet illegal allies to any country lest it destroy that country and her ability to care for the deserving poor, plus a word or two about lawlessness

That’s instead of contributing money to the parish whose leaders in the USCCB contribute to this lawless destructive activity pretending they’re helping

I give to EWTN who practice Catholicism without lawlessness

Really, folks who use little kids as pawns and to line their pockets with our money, such as Terry Anderson of Texas Baptist Men, Clay Jenkins, Nancy Pelosi, Obama, and Harry Reid, et al.
