The left's encouragement of soccer in the United States (as opposed to sports more rooted in the American culture), combined with massive recent immigration from countries where soccer is almost a religion and where violence associated with it is par for the course, has exposed the US to more of these incidents.

Combine this with the high level of violence associated with Arab/Islamic culture, which is geographically most prominent in metro Detroit, plus an player from an Arab background and an American-born referee, and you have a sociological milieu in this case that is most conducive to this kind of crime. In other words, a "perfect storm."

Sad to say, this is merely almost an expected result of the sociological factors at play in this case.

You’re right js93, and just one course of the multi-course meal being force fed to this once great nation to cause it to dissolve.

I’m afraid extreme violence is to come, whether to restore the U.S. or to be the way of life in the “fundamentally changed” world (think perpetual war zones, Mid-East, Egypt, Sudan, S. Africa, Somalia etc.) to come. One way or the other, it ain’t gonna be pretty.
