Megyn Kelly to Bill Ayers: Sounds like bin Laden
Politico ^ | July 1, 2014 | SARAH SMITH

Posted on 07/01/2014 6:25:30 AM PDT by Second Amendment First

Fox News host Megyn Kelly had a heated interview with former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers about his past actions as part of the radical group.

“You sound like — with respect — Osama bin Laden,” Kelly said to Ayers, cutting him off as he tried to justify the Weather Underground’s violent actions by pointing out what he said was violence committed by the government.

Kelly grilled Ayers, who rose to national prominence during the 2008 presidential campaign when questions arose about his contact with Barack Obama, on the activities she linked to the Weather Underground during the 1960s and 1970s, some of which — like the killing of a San Francisco policeman — Ayers fiercely denied had anything to do with the Weather Underground.

“I think Bowe Bergdahl, if he deserted, is a hero,” Ayers said, likening it to those who fled to Canada during the Vietnam War. “I think throughout history we should build monuments to the unknown deserters.”

Ayers maintained that most of the group’s activities centered around property destruction — illegal, but not deadly.

“It’s not about legality,” Kelly said. “You could have murdered somebody with those bombs.”

“The people who were conducting the war in Vietnam actually murdered people,” Ayers began.

Kelly cut him off.

“The answer is to make yourself a murderer as well?” she asked.

I think he agreed to the interview because he is arrogant enough to think he can outsmart Kelly. Kelly did the classic attorney cross examination and let this guy hang himself. Based on his answers any prosecutor should reopen the investigation based on his inconsistent answers. (some of the crimes have no statue of limitations)

Because he’s a media starved sycophant, just like his prodigy in the White House.

He was a terrorist, putting innocent people at risk to make a point. He should have done time. Perhaps then, he would not be able to mentor Obama.

I thought Kelly went easy on him. She was much more passionate with BOR in the set up. The BOR had to play the looks card.

““The people who were conducting the war in Vietnam actually murdered people,” Ayers began.”

Sounds like nothing more than an opinion to me, hardly justification for the heinous acts these scumbags perpetrated.

The Weather Underground made a threat against my father. They had mixed him up with a general with the same name. Dad was a doctor, not a bomber wing commander. They had to evacuate their quarters and hide out. My step mother and small sisters were terrified. I put Ayers and his ilk right there with Jane Fonda as far as I am concerned.

“Ayers maintained that most of the group’s activities centered around property destruction — illegal, but not deadly.”

Until/unless a person comprehends ‘property’, they cannot comprehend FREEDOM and individual AUTONOMY.

Your ‘property’ is an extension of your ‘man hours’. PERIOD

Destroying property, the property of others, is an act of violence ... even IF ONLY property is damaged/destroyed. You have stolen their property and assaulted the property OWNER!!

Liberals will NEVER get this.

Ayers is a no talent punk who wants attention. So what do no panic punks do to get attention - they do cowadly things like hurt people and property and hide in the shadows accept to get their name out their so their partners in crime think they are a big deal. Basically, he was in a 60’s gang - he’s a loser.

Megyn should have asked if Bill Ayers wrote or co-authored
Barak’s two books Dreams from my Father or The Audacity of Hope.

According to accounts, Ayers and his bride Dohrn sat in a meeting of subversives that calmly discussed the execution of millions of Americans they believed would not conform to their ideals when they took over the country. Their own special little final solution.

The best thing Ayers and Dohrn could do for their country is to slit their own throats. It is criminal that these two are allowed to pollute the minds of college students.

As repulsive as Hanoi Jane is, to my knowledge she's never actually blown anyone up.

When Ayers said “weather underground had nothing to do with xxx bombing.” Kelly should have asked how did you know, “were all bombing operations approved by you prior to going hot?”

He implied it.

Prosecutors? hello? prosecutors!

He’s as big a narcissist as his friend Obama. That’s why he did the interview.

"Just curious as to why he even consented to the interview."

Because he is promoting his book and like all the socialist elitists who want others to live in bondage, he craves wealth and the spotlight.

I don’t get Fox, so didn’t see the interview. Did Kelly ask Ayers about the “Dreams from my Baby Daddy” memoir? Even Michelle admitted Barry couldn’t write it and to ask Bill for help. Ayers is a good writer even if he is a foot soldier of the Dark side.
