He may not be there at all. Who’s going to vote for him in the general election, Demonrats? Not conservatives.

I am as prolife as these guys and there is NO WAY I would let some reporter corner me to make statements like these CLOWNS did.

A two year stint on FR should sharpen ANYONE's wits!

And why do this for a candidate who is showing signs of dementia and will be 83 years old by the time this term ends.

Please! I'll be 83 next month, and I don't consider myself to be "over the hill."

When I was Party chairman our hard and fast rule was, no Party support in a contested primary. We thought it was up to the voters to select the Party's candidate. The Committee should stay out of it, since we had to support the eventual winner. No point in poisoning the relationship right from the start.

You aren’t, mentally, over the hill.

My 87 year old mother isn’t, mentally, over the hill.

However, from the video and audio I’ve seen and heard from Cochran during the campaign, he is in the early/mid stages of dementia.

I don’t blame him for anything. He’s the Barbours’ puppet.

I blame them, and the RNC, RNCC, RNSC.

Apparently, they’ve confiscated the dems’ motto to win at all costs.

The ends justifies the means.

I don’t “do” that.

Respectfully, I don’t think you can equate the two campaigns.

You didn’t have the GOPe running an Al Sharpton approved campaign against their own party in a solid red state!

Against a challenger who won the Republican vote in the primary AND the runoff elections!

“One little correction “Haley Barbour gets to choose”

Dang straight! THAT’S what this is all about!

When is Bryant up for reelection?

The problem that the GOPe has in MS is that, if one votes on the dem ballot in the primary, their vote in the GOP runoff election is illegal.

From what I’ve read, illegal votes are pervasive.

The law, also, says that the vote count is open to the public. In Cochran counties, they aren’t being cooperative.

I can’t answer your questions in full, but it appears to me that McDaniel’s campaign is trying to ascertain the validity of the votes. If there are enough questionable ballots, this election would be tossed That would lead to a new election.

Hopefully, the rolls in the primary would be purged allowing only qualified people to vote.

No party support in the primaries used to be a hard and fast rule. The party would stay out of the primary.

However, PA with Spector and Toomey, then FL with Crist and Rubio, changed party politics for the worse.

The long and the short of it is Obamaite democrats chose the Republican nominee. The Pubes were nullified by these stunts......might as well have not showed up. Mr. Cornyn will not get my vote exactly because of the Mississippi chicanery put on by the RINOs.

Let's hope Chris still has a chance of prevailing. Else, i am going to have to break my own cardinal rule and not vote for the Repub. No way Cochran gets my vote and the only question is if I can force myself to double down and vote for his Dim opponent to fully leverage the message to the GOPe who manufactured this atrocity.

Am considering paying to have a yard sign printed up - considering the wording. Perhaps something like:

A VOTE for THAD

Is SUBMISSION to

and ENDORSEMENT of

BETRAYAL

There was never a better time or a more poignant reminder of a call to action against those who spit on us while claiming to be "conservative".

You may be right; but I'm going to go with the wisdom of Forrest Gump on this one.

I totally agree with you...open primaries need to stop...However, I was just reminded that the open primary law in Georgia was responsible for defeating Cynthia McKinney TWICE.

That's a come-back that's hard to ignore..a real conversation-stopper..

Obviously there are Democrats who voted in their earlier primary and who them illegally voted in the GOP run-off.

Early analysis suggests that there were more than enough of these to provide Cochran’s margin of victory.

Is McDaniel going to try and get these disqualified and then claim victory, or move for a new election?

REPLY TO KEN5050: Oh, Chris is not taking this lying down. He has NOT conceded this Election. He lost the stolen Election by 6000+ votes. He said this morning (Sat. June 28) that his team is working on this and they have already uncoverd 1500 voters who voted illegally; and that is from only a few precincts. THIS ISN’T OVER FOLKS!
