Not really. Roy wrote it, and as with most of his songs, it was just too difficult for others to perform. The song was easy and rolled off the tongue for him because it was his. Linda, as talented as she may be, still had to practically yell to get it out. It was painful to listen to, because it was just beyond her vocal reach.
