IRS ADMITS LEAKING CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION Used Against Mitt Romney in 2012 Elections

The conservative group National Organization of Marriage accused the IRS of leaking documents to the Obama Campaign in 2012. A top Obama campaign official Joe Solomese used the information to attack Mitt Romney during the 2012 election. The Huffington Post used the leaked documents in a story questioning former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s support for traditional marriage. The document showed Romney donated $10,000 to NOM.

The IRS agreed this week to pay only $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage after leaking confidential information to a leading gay marriage group. The Daily Signal reported, via Free Republic:

Two years after activists for same-sex marriage obtained the confidential tax return and donor list of a national group opposed to redefining marriage, the Internal Revenue Service has admitted wrongdoing and agreed to settle the resulting lawsuit.

The Daily Signal has learned that, under a consent judgment today, the IRS agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage as a result of the unlawful release of the confidential information to a gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, that is NOM’s chief political rival.

Imagine what the politicized IRS might do if they get control of our medical data. I could see medical treatment delayed or denied based on your politics. If the VA bureaucrats could do this to get a few bucks in bonuses the ruthless bastards at the IRS would let you die to suppress a few voters

If this is intended to sell Willard as a Conservative its a waste of time...

Of course he would have given $10,000 for “traditional marriage”

he was running for POTUS, and he is the father of same sex marriage...

He had to down play that hypocrisy by attempting to appear as though he was for only one man one woman marriage all along..

plus theres his push for homosexuals in the military, as boy scout leaders etc

he found that there were some TEA Party and Conservatives in the GOP who would not leave that alone no matter what he did to threaten them or mock them into silence...

I think this article is more about trying to shove Willard down our unwilling g throats again than any desire to expose the IRS as evil...

Poor Willard be sorry for his dumb butt...

No thanks...

The IRS had to be the one feeding tax info to that crook, Hopalong Harry Reid’s campaign.

No they do not need to got to prison that is way to private and easy for the rest of the nation to forget.

They need to be put into a very public cage with their names and crimes in very large print.

The whole world should be able to witness them paying for the crimes they committed.

Or just hang them and leave them hanging...

Yes Harry (the booty) scReid leveled false accusations against Romney and his tax returns which proved to be all legal and legit. He’s a real POS scumslime doing the dirty work of the rotten Democraps and WH agenda. He’ll get his comeuppance someday.

“They need to be put into a very public cage with their names and crimes in very large print.”

The founding fathers did not consider public stocks in the town square or tar and feathering to be cruel and unusual punishment. Perhaps we should bring back the stocks, the tar, and the feathers.

Why shouldn’t they admit it? There are simply no consequences for violating the law.

$50,000 for breaking federal law and trying to rig a presidential election is a joke.

Are we just sick to death of Boehner or what?? I can’t stomach that puck.

We are speeding over the cliff and no one in power seems to give a crap. Ok, other than Cruz and Lee, Chaffetz and Gowdy. I’m disgusted tonight.
