Democrats feel they have a natural right to lie just like gypsies believe they have a right to steal.

The guy is likely so ignorant; he likely doesn't realize that an investment fund would have stocks and bonds in it.
And these types are running our country.....

Dont hold it against me that I dont own a single stock or bond, Biden said. This is one of those quotes that begs to be parsed.
No, of course he doesn't own a single stock or bond--that would be foolish; it would require putting all your eggs in one basket. Biden surely knows that the smart investor is much more diversified. And diversified investors hold multiple stocks and bonds, sometimes in things called mutual funds or ETFs.
Nice try, idiot.

Well, if he owns eleven different mutual funds, it might be fair to say that he doesn't own a single stock or bond. He owns shares in mutual funds that own many such securities.
Of course, being the world's only living brain donor may work to give Ol' Drunken Joe a pass here...but it wouldn't fly for anybody else.

At any given time, he might correctly claim to be “penniless,” as well. And if you could turn him upside down and shake real hard, you’d find in fact, he had no pennies in his pockets. Quarters, dimes, and maybe a Susan B. Anthony dollar, but no pennies. Probably nothing but C-notes.

I am the LAST person on earth to defend Joe Biden on ANYTHING.
However, in this instance, he might have meant to say he does not directly own any individual stocks or bonds, that the securities he owns are held in mutual funds.
To: Trapped Behind Enemy Lines
If he was trying to make a point that he was not influenced by his investments, that would make sense.
But, he was offering up the information as evidence that he's just a regular ol' Joe, who's even more broke than Hillary.
I think Democratic politicians and celebrities are starting to realize that they're on the non-populist side of the class warfare front lines, so they're hoping nobody notices.

He doesn't mention the government Thrift Savings program started 30 years ago that matches 5% and allows 10% of your pay to go into at least 5 different retirement funds on top of his his civil service pension. his accountant would recommend participation.

Since he’s a “public servant”, is his tax return covered under FOIA?
