Tennessee has open primaries also. There is a growing fear and concern the same thing is going to happen in the upcoming Lamar Alexander/Joe Carr vote. We are hoping to get this changed. Lord knows it needs to be.
Thank you
Calling them RINOs is wrong, however. They are the Republicans. What we are learning is that we may not be able to “work from within” as many wish.
That won’t get it. Write-in for McDaniel is much better.
” I cant abide screaming and hollering about politics and points of law 24/7.”
Now, now now. Levin doesn’t scream and holler. He does raise his voice when he famously says
“Get off my phone ya big dope!!!”
Do you know the poll numbers?
I just got back to the caller saying, “you can’t splinter off..”
Get lost! I will not stay in an abusive relationship!
Any write ins for McDaniel are a null vote due to the Mississippi Sore Loser law.
I have no doubt it was the GOPe.
I heard that caller, I guess he thinks that the gop is interested in making a difference....

Here is a recent rundown. Alexander is polling ahead. However one quote is interesting:
“Lamar Alexander is the best-known Tennessee politician since Howard Baker. He is certainly the most well-known Tennessee politician of the last quarter century.
He is a Republican institution and he is polling at less than 50 percent.
For politicians, those kind of numbers are red alerts. Any time an incumbent is under 50 percent, they are in a lot of trouble. Alexander is not only below 50 percent, he is significantly below 50 percent.”
Hmm that is interesting thank you.
¿Has a write-in ever succeeded?
Let’s hope Gov. Bryant isn’t GOPe.
From Wikipedia. Here are a few
Typically, write-in candidates have a very small chance of winning, but there have been some strong showings by write-in candidates over the years.

Also in 1952, Dwight Eisenhower won the Republican Massachusetts presidential primary with 254,898 write-ins.
In 1956, Dwight Eisenhower won the Republican Massachusetts presidential primary with 51,951 write-ins.

Yes. Remember Lisa Murkowski won as a write-in in Alaska.
Minnesota Governor Arne Carlson in November 1990.
The went to court to see if it was all right to give people peal off stickers to use on the ballot to make certain it could be read and spelled correctly.
He won, and then won.
