New Jersey Senate: Booker (D) 48%, Bell (R) 35%

Democrat Cory Booker, running for reelection after less than a year in office, holds a double-digit lead over Republican challenger Jeff Bell in New Jersey’s U.S. Senate race.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely New Jersey Voters finds Booker with 48% support to Bell’s 35%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and 13% are undecided.

I don’t think he was originally from New Jersey. He’s associated with this state — and he does have a rest area on the Turnpike named after him — because he was a Princeton graduate.

Wilson was born in Staunton, Virginia and raised in different Southern locales. He was also Governor of New Jersey before being elected President.

Booker is an a$sclown, such an a$sclown that Steve Loseagain only lost to him by 11 points. Any Republican with a pulse should be able to be within 13 points of him, so in that vein, I am not surprised.

I have zero expectation Bell can actually get much closer than that, let alone win. But here’s to hoping.
