MH370 Captain Plotted Route To Southern Indian Ocean On Home Simulator

MH370 Captain Plotted Route To Southern Indian Ocean On Home Simulator Detectives investigating the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 three months ago discover new evidence which has renewed suspicions about its pilot

22 Jun 2014

The pilot of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane which disappeared in March with 239 people on board had plotted a flight path to a remote island far into the southern Indian Ocean where the search is now focused, investigators have discovered.

The route, which was deleted before MH370 disappeared on March 8, was made on a home flight simulator machine used for practice by its captain, Zaharie Shah. Its discovery has intensified suspicion that he deliberately hijacked his own plane and diverted it from its approved flight path to Beijing.

More than three months have now passed since the flight disappeared in what has become one of the great mysteries of modern aviation. And despite a lack of any hard evidence, suspicion of Capt Zaharie's involvement has grown as investigators have gradually eliminated other potential suspects and causes of its disappearance.

Detectives and investigators, including experts from Britain's Air Incident Branch, have so far found no evidence of a technical fault or malfunction which could explain its disappearance. Inquiries into the backgrounds of the flight's passengers and crew have similarly failed to yield any evidence of, or motive for, anyone hijacking the plane or sabotaging it.

Why should you have to plan a route into the middle of the ocean just to crash?

I believe the destination was a runway. I think these forensic investigators should go to the IRS. They are good at recovering deleted stuff.

So what’s the island with the small runway? There can’t be that many.

Unnamed island? Hmmmm?
...
been recovered from Capt Zaharie’s simulator which had been used to practice landing an aircraft on a small runway on an unnamed island in the far southern Indian Ocean....

Captain Zahire most likely snapped or went off on a suicidal bender with psycho thrills about never being found in the deep ocean. Just an opinion FWIW.
PS. Doesn’t he resemble just a teensy weensy bit you know who but shorter and without hair?

“Why should you have to plan...?
Planning is required to enter way points into the flight computer.

“just to crash?” Free burial site with ocean view?

Think of all the islands the elitists in this country will escape to after this country is destroyed. They'll need runways.

Several of my grandson’s racing Xbox games have islands which include runways without airports, race tracks and roads on which to race which appear very similar to actual roads in other places but the games have no people or cities. If anyone really sure it wasn’t a video game that was loaded into his simulator?

Took them three months to figure this out.

Sleuths, these folks are not!

Seven days max, much less if they were sharp.

Good luck passengers. By 2027 they may figure out there was a possibility you were alive on the groud.

CNN is still looking into the possibility the plane was hijacked by Bigfoot.

What we don’t as yet know is how long he had this flight simulator and how many other simulations he programmed into it. Was this landing simulation on a small island in the Indian Ocean just one of many hundreds of other simulations? Was this landing simulation recent and frequently run, or was it just one of many other landing scenarios he had run in the past?

After all, a pilot buys a simulator to train himself on all possible landing scenarios to include small islands, now doesn’t he?

To prevent closure by the victim's relatives and friends.

If the plane was flown into the ocean, perhaps the goal was “terror.” The lack of closure would keep the story alive, and the goal would be to make people afraid that, unexplained, it might happen again/no way to prevent it etc. ROP goals. And a desire to try to create the impression they are all powerful, instead of all sociopathic.
