Jindal says rebellion brewing against Washington
Associated Press ^ | Jun 22, 2014 1:31 AM EDT | Connor Radnovitch

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Saturday night accused President Barack Obama and other Democrats of waging wars against religious liberty and education and said that a rebellion is brewing in the U.S. with people ready for “a hostile takeover” of the nation’s capital. […]

The governor said there was a “silent war” on religious liberty being fought in the U.S.—a country that he said was built on that liberty.

“I am tired of the left. They say they’re for tolerance; they say they respect diversity. The reality is this: They respect everybody unless you happen to disagree with them,” he said. “The left is trying to silence us and I’m tired of it; I won’t take it anymore.” …

>>Obama is licking his lips in anticipation to declare martial law. <<

So? Where does he think he’ll get the people to reinforce it nationwide? One cop per thousand people won’t be able to do it. One soldier per thousand people won’t be able to do it either. He’ll be the laughing stock of the world if he tried to do it.

Obama has no balls. He’ll never stand up to determined force. Look what happened recently in Nevada. He’ll back down. Which means that now is the time to push and hard.

“we would stay and join the fight, but, face it folks there are not enough men in the country with the stones or the desire to fight”

Its obvious you have not visited the South my friend. Can you say “Powder Keg?”

Its just campaign rhetoric, but some people have a hard time separating rhetoric from reality.

You can compare what Jindal said to what the other candidates said at this campaign event, or, compare what Jindal said at this campaign event to what he said at the previous campaign event in Iowa.

Jindal is not doing well in the polls so he is going have to "step it up" or escalate the rhetoric. Plus, Jindal has to be worried about Vitter running for gov. So he is actually campaigning for both governor and president.

Jindal’s OK I don’t want him for President. But I think he has gotten a clue of the prevailing sentiment in the South. Not that he would do anything about it. He’s first generation American so at the risk of being unfair I don’t think he’s got the fire in the belly heritage the rest of us do. Maybe he will prove me wrong.

I hope the same. Sometimes people that come here from other countries have a better understanding and appreciation of the United States and what makes us so different and great. I am not talking about border jumpers or criminals... I am talking about moral people who work hard and that don't want the class-ism, sexism, sanctioned violence, and lazy attitudes found in many other parts of the world. America has never been what the left accuses her of being. Quite the contrary.

> Government has the only monopoly on violence. Keep it in mind.

And I think its possible 0’s administration may have hired specialists to increase the spotlight on shootings and very well may have caused or contributed to many of them either directly or indirectly. We keep hearing a lot of the same things repeated over and over like the shooters heard voices or pressure on their skulls or they were taking psychotropic drugs. All have been troubled persons with mental illness issues (in other words, liberals) I can’t think of another time when shootings were so rampant while gun control was being pushed so hard at the same time. Coincidence? Prob not.

The founding fathers warned us.
There is no real way to fix all that has been destroyed - historically, this has always gone the same way.

I wish it weren't true.
The writing is on the wall, there is no way to turn back all that needs to be turned back. It is so unfortunate, but human nature makes society repeat these disasters every 10 decades or so.

The coming storm will be financial, epidemiological and violent - it always is.

I'm not wishing for it, I dread it. But that won't make it go away.

"Its obvious you have not visited the South my friend. Can you say “Powder Keg?”"

You are right, I haven't but I do pray you are right but if yu want Maine in it with you, than you must act before, well before June 12, 2018 when we vote to secede, for after that, our militia cannot join in the fray.

The Militia of Maine will not be able to fight outside of Maine unless 75% of militia members age 21 to 67 vote to send themselves. It is only Militia members, men, that can vote.

Section 6. The Militia and the standing army of 1,000. So as to insure and guarantee the rights guaranteed in this Constitution, every natural born male in the Republic of Maine, upon reaching the age of 18 years from conception through age 67 years from conception, has, as a member of the Militia, the obligation to keep and bear arms for the common defense, for his and his families protection, to defend against this government or any government in the future from becoming oppressive, tyrannical, or in any other way obnoxious to freedom, and to secure the rights written in this Constitution. This obligation shall never be questioned. No law shall be passed that restricts this obligation, except for time in a local jail, county jail or Maine Republic prison. No law shall be passed, test given, or fee assessed to any citizen of the Republic of Maine, age 18 from the age of conception, both male and female, that would restrict in any way that citizens right to be armed either concealed or open. Males who are found to be or confess to being homosexuals are refused entry and from serving in either the Militia or the standing army. Males over the age of 67 may be voluntary members of the Militia with the full rights of Militia members. Natural born males between the age of 16 years from conception to 18 years from conception may volunteer for Militia service with the written permission of parents or guardians. The standing army of 1,000 shall be drawn from the Militia by the commander of the Militia and is under the command of the commander of the Militia who is appointed by and reports directly to the President.

"

To quote part of Patrick Henry's famous speech...

" it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the numbers of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation?

Today the answer would be a resounding... YES..."

Maybe, but, maybe not.

I have mixed feelings,

I would love to see the men of the US stand up and take their country back,

but I also love the idea of being free, and that is what the Republic of Maine offers me.

Put the burden of proof on the doctor or hospital that releases them back into society. One solution would be to hold the mental health professional LIABLE for the actions of the ill person they release.
