Democrats aren’t treating this like an investigation. They’re treating it like a trial and playing the role of defense attorney.

Sander Levin has no interest in finding facts
but insists he KNOWS what is going on.
[Was he in on this with Cummings?]

Kioskinen claims they examined the hard drives for months,
and that they were shared amongst many people with
“custodians”. He did not want to notify Congress
because they are not “rationale”, unlike his
Evidence-destroying IRS.
Kioskinen then blames the Committee for the loss
by giving an irrational segue to the Flacks episode.

Mr. Johnson notes there is “targeting of Americans
for their beliefs”. Exactly.

Pushed Koskinen into saying he supported a special prosecutor.

I thought he said No. ?????

Kioskinen purports the IRS destroys the Evidence
to save .... $200,000.

Got that? The purpose was to destroy Evidence.

He struck me as a real weasel at the last hearing .... the previous IRS Commissioner was a lying weasel as well. Then I think of other ‘heads of agencies’ ..... Obama has picked a bunch of liars, crooks and corruptocrats, all good reflections of their boss. The IRS has been ‘weaponized’ and Congress needs to do something dramatic to stop it and I know they won’t.

This witness just said emails don’t qualify as “records” in the IRS data storage law, implying that destroyed emails was not illegal.

Yes, the intentional destruction of evidence is a major deal, and someone should spend some prison time for it.

Sandy Berger got probation for what you or I would be buried under the jail for.

Rep. Kevin Brady has caught John Koskinen
in a great lie and obstruction of justice.
Koskinen then LIES and says he told them
information which he did not.

Rep. Brady is doing great.

I looked it up - %50k fine, community service, probation.

And it was obvious, as it is in this case, that the full consequences for his behavior was far less damaging than the information that he destroyed.

But you know the IRS would use taxpayer emails as evidence in a heartbeat.

No wonder Lois was so “smug” during her appearances .... she knew she’d destroyed evidence.

Cummings apologizes that the LIES have been exposed.

[Lucky for HIM the “hard drives” are missing]

John Lewis. Duh.

Going to let Koskinen filibuster his five minutes.

Other email from the time period in question exists, it must have been restored from backup to the replacement disk.

Why were these emails not restored for Lerner?

Why were these emails not restored for these other particular persons?
