Fox News ^ | June 13, 2014

A senior U.S. defense official Friday said U.S. officials were seeing signs that Iranian fighters were engaged in Iraq.

But it was not immediately clear how many troops were involved.

"This is bad," the senior U.S. defense official told Fox News, adding that "there is not much we can do (militarily). We are way behind the curve."

obama didn’t arm ISIS, he armed FSA which fights together with Al Nusra against both ISIS and assad

They were originally funding them and arming them. But they got caught right around the time Benghazi occurred. Hillary herself had to state publicly, we had no idea they were terrorists. That was when they started only funding and arming FSA because they were not ISIL (which of course was not called ISIL back then). At any rate, the main funding and arms were laundered through Qatar. You know Qatar. Obama tried to claim Qatar had negotiated with the Taliban. Not Obama.

When this is over, there will be the Shiite Arabic Western Department of Iran with capital in Baghdad, and the Northern Sunni Caliphate.

More like a central Sunni Caliphate. The Kurds are not giving up Kirkuk or its oil.

Iraq will be partitioned. The northern section to the Sunni ISIL and the Shia south will be taken over by Iran. Iraq will cease to be a nation. Thanks Obama.

I’ve always thought this was the reason that Ambassador Stevens was killed via Whitehouse inaction. Given Stevens’ lifestyle and personality, I figure he was talking too much, too soon and needed to be silenced.

Either that or it was pay back for numerous attempts on Assad’s life. The Russians knew that ISIL was the real bad guys all along. Now ISIL has taken a lot of the military hardware they took from Iraq, and have driven it back into Syria. So yes, fairly soon Syria will become even more unstable then it is, and that will bring in Russians by the thousands.

This is the beginning of Irans consolidation of Iraq into the Caliphate,

And Obama handed it to them on a silver platter. What’s worse is they do not see the hammer and the anvil. Iran will push ISIS further and further north towards Syria. Syria will start driving them south.

Phase one will be to wipe out ISIS and this is where Russia will help their Syrian ally. Also keep in mind Russia builds Irans nuke plants. Phase two will be a push by Turkey south and they will start attacking the Kurds. With both Syria and Iran on the borders, the hammer will start coming down.

With no one to back the Kurds and siince Obama already said piss off to the Iraqis, and with Russia providing weapons and support, the Kurds will be wiped out. Now include Lebanon in the Caliphate and that means the only thing between a soon to be nuclear Iran and Israel is Jordan.

This won’t end well.

Do not think Syria is in any position to push ISIL out of Syria. They control a large section of Eastern Syria. Unless of course Assad unleashes his remaining WMD. The problem right now is ISIL has been joined by the Baathist and many Iraqi Sunni. If Iran attacks ISIL, it could draw in the rest of the Sunni's in full support (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, etc.). Iran is struggling right now to hold onto Baghdad. The March has arrived. At any rate, the US is still shocked.

It is really a simple equation.

The al-Qaeda side, apparently under the planning and guidance of Saddam’s former officers, is making an impressive play to regain Sunni control over a heavily Shiite country, so that the 10% of Sunnis will once again rule over the 70% of Shiites. Rather unlikely.

But, if they fail, that will be the end of Sunnis in Iraq. For the most part, they will have to flee to either Jordan or Saudi Arabia. However, the fools have already threatened to overthrow the king of Jordan next, so he and his Bedouins are unlikely to give them a friendly welcome.

For its part, Iran faces the tremendous temptation to stay in Iraq and take over its government. And if they try to do so, and the Iraqis start seriously fighting them, it might be the best outcome, as far as the west is concerned, as it will deplete Iran’s resources and war making ability.

What is the difference between the ISIS and the ISIL?

Same organization, just two ways to list the acronym. Both are currently being used by media. Heck, Hillary refers to them as Al Qeada, while some of the media claims they were kicked out of Al Qeada. Hillary is trying to sow confusion as usual to cover her culpability. Does not matter which Syrian Rebel force she is accused of supplying aid too, Al Qeada or ISIL or whatever, the bottom line is any Syrian Rebel force fought against Assad and that weakened him and hampered him in his fight against ISIL/ISIS.

I’m sure it is bad for whatever plan Obama had. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It is the Obama plan. Obama is a retainer and protege for the Saudi Royal family. (They paid his way throgh Harvard after getting him admitted to Harvard Law School).

Obama is likley running a CIA based secret OP which will put ISIS in charge of Iraq as Sunnis. The House of Saud requires that. The Shiites are about to have their asses handed to them.

IMHO Obama is already involved in Iraq. Its just that nobody knows it, except for the Saudis and a few others.

When you look at Obamas actions, and ignore all of the misleading press , and his self created lies, you see that Obama is basically working for the Saudis. This is the common theme which invests every one of Obama’s international decisions from pipelines to prunes : A Sunni led world caliphate and so far he has southern Russia, the Balkans, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Thailand, parts of Burma, Indonesia, parts of the Philippines, and the USA moving to support the Sunni cause.

The Iranians know all of this, which is why they are now asking for Obamas help , knowing he will not give it, putting him on the spot, and making Obama look very bad indeed in the eyes of the US public( he who would negiotiate with ANYONE.)In a few months to a year or so, Iraq can be the perfect venue for the Shiites to use their first nuclear weapon.

Israel is the only state which knows all this is happening.
