Charlie Crist has been endorsed by Florida’s largest gay rights group in his run for Governor....

Equality Florida officials made the announcement at a visitors center for gays and lesbians in Miami Beach, citing Crist’s current support for same-sex marriage and ongoing legal efforts to overturn the state’s ban on the unions.

On July 2, trial is scheduled to begin in the lawsuit by homosexuals trying to destroy the Florida Constitution's definition of marriage.

I assumed they already had! Who’dathunkit that it would have taken them this long? With that said, why is this even news at all?

With the medical marijuana initiative tracking overwhelmingly in favor, I fear we’re going to be saddled with Crist again as the dope-smoking hippie masses are going to swarm the polls to get their legal green.

Idiots don’t realize that it’s only medical to begin with. Florida’s going to go the way of Colorado, I fear. I hear Texas is nice.

Florida’s done. Tourism is already hitting up the pols for outright legalization. I’ve seen lobbying material from the Florida tourism industry projecting $400m in increased tax revenue if Florida went Colorado. Then they thrown in the savings from current enforcement efforts, and net out over a half billion dollars annually in their projections.

The only thing fascinating about the whole episode is Sheldon Adelson’s massive donation to stop legalization. Unexpected.

There is an accumulation of medical evidence as to the harms of marijuana. As a major employer in Nevada, Adelson no doubt must often confront the effects of marijuana on his workforce.
