Btw, did you see that FR ranks number 14 on Alexa out of a field of 100 sites? Pretty darn good! :-)

I really wanted a farm in Amish country.
Then check out southern Ohio, too. In terms of taxes, Tennessee has both Ohio and Kentucky beat. There is no state income tax, and it is made up by a sales tax. There are also property taxes, licenses, fees...but those are common to the 3 states as well.
I don't know if there are Amish communities in Tennessee. I like the hills better than the plains, so I'd go central to east Tennessee, but I've got to admit, Eastern Kentucky near Maysville is absolutely beautiful country.

As Rush Limbaugh said, some people Work for a Living and some people Vote for a Living.
I wish I had thought that up.
Whenever I hear a Politician say that People should Vote in their “self interest” I am reminded of the definition of Democracy, Two Wolves and One Sheep deciding what’s for Dinner.

In any case, the only way to get a surfer is to let him surf for free.I used to live in SoCal...Surfed Huntington Beach all the way South to Ensenada, Baja...that type of surfing was never "free"....There was gas, food, wax, etc..but it was all voluntary.
This type of surfing isn't free either. And I "get" that. I figure...if a person is reading FR once a day, once a week...they ought to be giving something.
$2 a month from all FReepers....would be awesome!!!

If you are in contact with Wagglebee say hi for me. I’ve worried going on nearly 2 years now that he passed on to his reward. Can you affirm that he’s still among the living? That would be great news.

I really wanted a farm in Amish country. Cant get those in Tennessee! Uh...you really need to take another look at East Tennessee. Check out this store in Chuckey; located between Johnson City and Greeneville...would love to have a small veggie farm in that beautiful area.

Almost forgot...when you visit Mountain View’s page, check out the photos...especially the GIANT donuts. I consider this store one of the four most peaceful places I have ever visited. Miss it terribly.

I would love to hear Cruz and Palin talk up FR a bit.
Also, I think it’s worth saying that FR is often ahead of others news sources. This is where I get my news; I remember being logged in when the police were hunting for that piece of Tsarnaev trash, right after the Boston Marathon bombing. FR beat Fox News to the announcement of the capture.

Yar, saw that, mate. Every time I start feeling low about things I always wind up reminded that others are not doing well either. Prayers for him and his family.

Brother, I thank you sincerely for your understanding. I just wish that more people who use FR would contribute as I find this to be a resource without compare. Prayers Up!

Bless you, dear lady. Some people cannot even be bothered enough to mail a check for what it costs for a cup of coffee these days it seems, yet continue using FR and allowing others to carry the load.

I am reminded of the definition of Democracy, Two Wolves and One Sheep deciding whats for Dinner. Ummm... I believe that's: "Two Wolves and One Sheep voting on whats for Dinner.", if I recall correctly.
However, the sentiment is similar. :)
