“This has resulted in surface water deliveries to farms and ranches from reservoirs and the California Aqueduct being cut by 32.5%, or 6 million acre-feet.”

Funny how the government can control water distribution by a third in one region in this country...

Control, being the operative word here...

And if you dare to try and wriggle out from under that control, find a way to offset the control by being self-sufficient, you get hammered anyway by regulation, or fines if you go for very long on that course...

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness is a long forgotten, and disrespected, aspect of this countries founding principles...By the very people ignorant of those principles by electing people to control everyone, make everyone equal under the guise of social justice, inequality, racial hatred...

Turn back the clock 8-10 years...Does anyone really believe they could recall thinking this country would be in such a precarious and dangerous position in almost every aspect of our lives???

“A quarter pounder with cheese was 45 cents in 1980. Do the math.”

In 1980 I was earning around three hundred a week. I bought a new car which was quite adequate for my purposes for six thousand or twenty weeks gross pay. The car would transport four adults with luggage and get thirty four miles per gallon on the interstate at seventy miles per hour. I was not wealthy but I had no problem whatsoever living on that income and was able to take my wife on a nice little trip now and then.

My, my, we really have made a lot of progress in the past thirty four years haven’t we. You could easily spend more than the price of that car on a used clunker now. Some people spend more on a nice lawn mower.

Its my McDonalds economics theorem. Minimum wage would buy me 4 QP’s.

I think that it should probably keep up with that. I don’t know enough about adding in ObamaCare to completely whack that idea.
