.... by the LUGS of Wellesley, 40 years ago. Ever read her journal entries about her moral wrestling with herself back then, when the LUGS were leaning on her.
I knew a girl who graduated my high-school class with super-high grades and a bookish but sweet personality, and sailed away with high hopes to Bryn Mawr and Chi Omega, where she'd be Mom's legacy. A year and a half later, I was surprised to see her at my cow-college back down home, still a Chi O but very, very quiet and obviously disillusioned about Bryn Mawr. Any guesses what happened?
