NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – You’ve probably seen it. If not, you’ve definitely heard about it.

Michael Sam became the first openly-gay man to be drafted by an NFL team on Saturday when the Rams took him with the 249th pick in the seventh round.

Upon hearing the news, the former Missouri standout kissed his boyfriend, Vito Cammisano. It was televised for the world to see.

Many players, journalists and fans embraced the moment and supported Sam. But, as expected, others found the moment unsettling and inappropriate.

Every parent has the opportunity to tell their children about the people who practice sodomy and how they are harming themselves. This mess is just little more strange than just about a same sex relationship.

The boyfriend, Vito Cammisano, is the grandson of Willie 'the rat' Cammisano a former enforcer (aka; 'hit man') in the KC mafia. Willie got his nick name because of his reputation for dumping 'his kills' into the sewer system for the rats to consume.

Even more strange about the relationship is that the mafia is known to be VERY bias against (and unaccepting) of both blacks and homo's.

This is a great point and bears repeating. There's a very good, very valid reason that every blood bank in this US asks the question "Have you ever had sexual contact with another man, even just once?" It's an automatic disqualification to donate, because the number of possible STDs among other diseases is so numerous as to be statistically poor for them to even waste their time and resources to draw your blood.

If they test the blood and find any of the host of STDs or diseases spread by sodomy, they have to throw away that blood at the cost for the people who drew and the equipment used to do so.

Michael Sam weighs something like 260 pounds, and there were 320+ pound offensive linemen turning in faster 40-yard times than him.

Personally, I think the guy has no interest in playing football (maybe that's why his performance at the NFL combines was so poor) ... and that at some point he decided that "coming out" before the NFL draft was the best way to advance his most lucrative career prospect: as a professional homosexual.
