Sen. Marco Rubio: Yes, I'm Ready To Be President (But Is He Constitutionally Eligible?)

a 42-year-old freshman senator, but when asked by Jonathan Karl on “This Week” if he’s ready to be president, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida answered without hesitation.

“I do … but I think that’s true for multiple other people that would want to run … I mean, I’ll be 43 this month, but the other thing that perhaps people don’t realize, I’ve served now in public office for the better part of 14 years,” said Rubio. “Most importantly, I think a president has to have a clear vision of where the country needs to go and clear ideas about how to get it there and I think we’re very blessed in our party to have a number of people that fit that criteria.”

When asked if he was qualified to run, Rubio reiterated that the Republican Party has several qualified candidates.

“The question is what — who’s vision is the one that our party wants to follow?” he said.

Rubio – who spoke to Karl on Friday in New Hampshire — said that if he decides to seek the presidency, he would not simultaneously seek re-election as a senator for the Sunshine State.

Ineligible candidates elected by unqualified voters, resulting in illegitimate government. That’s the way America rolls these days.

Rubio would be the 3rd straight Republican to run for President that their father was born outside of the USA.

From Senator Rubio’s Wikipedia entry: Rubio was born in Miami, Florida, the second son and third child of Mario Rubio and Oria Garcia. His parents were Cubans who had immigrated to the United States in 1956 and were naturalized as U.S. citizens in 1975. Rubio’s maternal grandfather, Pedro Victor Garcia, also immigrated legally to the U.S. in 1956, but returned to Cuba to find work in 1959. When he returned to the U.S. in 1962 without a visa, U.S. embassies in Cuba being closed, an immigration judge ordered him deported. U.S. immigration authorities ultimately used their discretion to allow him to remain in the U.S. without a visa. The Associated Press concludes that Garcia may have been undocumented for four years until 1966.

In October 2011, the St. Petersburg Times and The Washington Post reported that Rubio’s previous statements that his parents were forced to leave Cuba in 1959, after Fidel Castro came to power, were incorrect as they had in fact left Cuba in 1956 during the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. According to The Washington Post, Rubio’s “embellishments” resonate with many voters in Florida, who would not be as impressed by his family being economic migrants seeking a better life in the U.S. instead of political refugees from a communist regime. Rubio responded: “The real essence of my family’s story is not about the date my parents first entered the United States. Or whether they traveled back and forth between the two nations. Or even the date they left Fidel Castro’s Cuba forever and permanently settled here. The essence of my family story is why they came to America in the first place; and why they had to stay.”

Is there any truth to the vicious rumor that as President, Rubio would annex the Sovereign Nation of Mexico to be the 51 st, (or would it be the 58 th?), US State?

That would certainly solve the pesky problem of Doormat Republicans, such as Boehner, approving Obama’s Democrat New Voters Plan of Amnesty for the Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico.

Of course Marco Rubio is eligible. and so are Ted and Bobby J.

You see, all that is required is that a candidate claim Natural Born Citizenship for it to be so. It is only dumb, elderly, white Republican racist males who claim that one must be born of two-that's 2-American citizens somewhere under American jurisdiction to claim the honor.

Yo, this is already 'settled science." No need to involve the courts. Move along, nothing to see here. If you don't believe me, ask the SCOTUS.
