The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

Really insensitive of people to criticize others for drinking camel urine - they should learn to appreciate that the use of camel urine is a major development in 7th century nutrition science.

For instance, in North Carolina, milk sold must be pasteurized, although no one is currently selling camel’s milk in the state, she said. In South Carolina, milk can be sold raw.

There is a camel milk dairy in Colorado that produces camel milk for sale and export that adheres to the 1966 Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (current version). The owner handles his cows just like a dairy farmer would and his milk is tested for coliforms. I think this form of camel milk production is as safe as our milk production from cows.There is a expanding market for camel’s milk as it doesn’t have the allergens that are common to our domestic cows milk and is tolerated by the lactose intolerant.

Camel meat is quite tasty. It's tender and does not have much fat. There is no part of the camel that is not used. BTW, there are no wild camels left in KSA. Every beast belongs to someone. Wild camels come from Australia, where they are rounded up for meat, which is processed and exported. They also export live camels.
Warning: Camel hide leather and camel hair are also processed with ... you guessed it ...camel urine. Many more Muslims would emigrate to the US, but they cannot break the emotional bonds and leave their camel's behind.
