And now they have a website.
It's called globalchange.gov.
And they have a legal mandate too, not just to investigate so-called climate change, but to investigate “global change” in general.
“The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP,)” says the website, “was established by Presidential Initiative in 1989 and mandated by Congress in the Global Change Research Act (GCRA) of 1990 to ‘assist the Nation and the world to understand, assess, predict, and respond to human-induced and natural processes of global change.’”
Wow.
And whatever else that open-ended mission statement means, one thing you can be sure of is that the USGCRP will get shriller, more strident and more partisan as the science behind so-called “global change” becomes more damning to their hypothesis.

I’m particularly appalled the amount of $$ going to and at the shift in priorities at NASA...we used to see a return on investment with that agency; that era may well be dead.
Let me know when they publish the wording for such a law. Or will Pelosi have to pass it before we are allowed to know what’s in it?

As investigative journalist Donna Laframboise reports, most of the 13 senior scientists controlling the draft report are prominently associated with environmental activist groups. These are the folks putting together an “objective” assessment of global warming and government policy recommendations.
Let’s review the background of seven of the 13 senior scientists:
Chair of the report Jerry Melillo is a contributing author for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Vice Chair Gary Yohe is part of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Climate Witness Program.
Richard Moss is a former vice president for WWF.
James Buizer is on the Board of Directors of the environmental activist group Second Nature.
Susanne Moser is a former staff scientist for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Andrew Rosenberg is a director for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Donald Weubbles is an author for the Union of Concerned Scientists.

NASA probably assists in putting those spy satellites in orbit. That may be what that’s about. That or ensuring that they find another planet suitable for life that they can ship the elites off to once they’ve screwed this planet up royally, overpopulated it, and exploited all of its resources.
Hey, people: Just a heads up that I may have discovered a stealth/backdoor regulatory regime designed to get private industry on board with ‘climate change’ (Insurance companies).
