Telegram: You’re going to join U.S. Sen. Susan Collins for a state party fundraiser today. She’s defended National Security Agency spying programs you oppose, and she’s also running against a Democrat, Shenna Bellows, who comes pretty close to sharing your views on that and other privacy issues. Do you support her, despite disagreement on many of those issues? Rand Paul: I wholeheartedly endorse Senator Collins for re-election. I think she’s doing a great job for Maine and for the country. ... I don’t really know, exactly, what her position is on the NSA; you’d have to ask her about that. I just know my position, but I think we’re a big political party. There’s room for not-entire agreement on every issue.

Perhaps his attitude is that Collins is the very best you're gonna get from Maine.Americans For Democratic Action,a Maoist group with close, long term ties to the anarchist wing of the Rat Party, gives Collins a score of 50% in regards to the 20 votes that they believe were most important in 2012.That means that they think that she voted “correctly” in half of those votes.Move about 50 miles west of Maine's border with New Hampshire and you arrive in Vermont (New Hampshire isn't a very *wide* state). In Vermont, you'll find a filthy multi millionaire Rat named Lahey. The ADA gave him a score of 100% for that same year.So your only two realistic choices in Maine are 50% or 95-100% which is what you'd get with another New England Rat.

Sounds like just the Candidate the Media will pick for us.
No, Thanks - I pass (

Does Maine have an Open Primary where anyone can vote or do the voters have to be Registered Repubs? Not that that matters much any more. The Dems will just re-register as Dems when it gets closer to the election.

Susan Collins is the same as Olympia Snowe, the Republican turncoat that gave us Obamacare. If it hadn’t been for Snowe, this monstrosity never would have made it out of committee. She gave Max Baucus political cover: BIPARTISANSIP. Disgusting RINOS.

Rand Paul was a big Mitt Romney supporter.

He seems to be signaling strongly, that he is much more socially liberal than he revealed to the Kentucky voters.

Rand Paul Leads Hillary Clinton In Crucial Battleground State Of Colorado

The state of Colorado has swung from a solidly Republican state over a decade ago to a Democratic-leaning state in recent elections. If Republicans want to take back the White House in 2016 they must appeal to nontraditional GOP voters in states like Colorado, and Rand Paul is the only candidate with potential to do so.

According to a new poll from Quinnipiac University, libertarian-leaning Sen. Rand Paul is the only potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate to lead Hillary Clinton in the battleground state of Colorado. While big GOP donors and other establishment forces have questioned Paul’s electability, opting instead to “draft” former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, In fact, not only does Paul have a statistically significant lead, but he is the only Republican candidate to have consistently held a lead over Clinton in the state.

Rand Paul voted against the amnesty bill in the senate. Are you aware of that, or are you just trying to fool people here?

The bill was passed by the senate and now the house has to vote on it. It’s out of his hands. He was just commenting on the situation.

Sen. Rand Paul on Tuesday argued the Republican Party needs to get “beyond deportation” in order to break through to Hispanic voters....

....One way to open that “door” to the Hispanic community, he said, is to offer reassurances that “Mrs. Garcia’s nephew is not going to be sent home to Mexico.”

While Paul opposed the comprehensive immigration reform package in the Senate last year, he has signaled that he supports other approaches to reform.

LOL. Nice try.

Instead of attacking me, why don’t you explain why you are rooting against the republican in the race? Are you a democrat or just a useful idiot? Thanks.

Cruz Tries to Claim the Middle Ground on Immigration

“The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight,” he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Mr. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation.

“I have said many times that I want to see common-sense immigration reform pass,” he said.

How about instead you explain why you keep pushing a liberal that backs the top dog in the GOP He Man Conservative/TEA Party haters club, wants Amnesty on his terms, goes begging to Romney’s money machine for support, says we have to back off on social issues and now intends to back one of the biggest libs on the east coast.

Please explain it to me. I mean Jim posts FURP regularly so I have to believe the modern Paulbots are on par with the old ones.

Why did Paul want to go to these lengths to support Collins?

Why comment at all on her race? What do you think he is signaling with this deep commitment to Collins?

You are still going after Ted Cruz on every Paul thread.

So you are setting up a stop Cruz effort, and promoting Paul as the one who can defeat the conservatives.

That seems to be Paul’s role for the rino wing of the GOP, to make the party more liberal, and what a little lap dog Paul is proving to be.
