On one tour we joined, smoke wafted out windows. Strangers shared pipes and exchanged samples of weed and wax, a concentrated form of marijuana. Canisters of buds bearing names like "tangerine haze" and "strawberry cough," were passed around to smell. Nutella pancakes came up in conversations at least three times.

"why stop at pot?" Is exactly what they were counting on.

We know Soros has supported and funded heroin and pot legalization since 1996. We know Soros has spent millions of dollars campaigning against the "war on drugs", Bush, and supporting Obama. We know that since Obama was installed heroin production in Afghanistan has hit record numbers. Opiate related accidents America have now become the primary cause of accidental deaths. (Not alcohol) We know Wall Street banks are openly laundering cartel drug money with impunity. We can assume the same is true for Soros' hedge funds. We know the Holder's DEA was for some strange reason meeting with and providing Mexican cartel's with an "arsenal" of weapons. We know heroin destroyed China, and in 2014 American cities have an abundance of highly addictive, heroin readily available and as cheap as a pack of cigarettes. Sadly the Godless, fatherless, or otherwise vulnerable children, don't stand a chance.

“Drunks are miserable to be around. BOTH groups (drunks and potheads) end up talking and behaving like idiots.

======================================

Without question, they do, and they are. I want societal pressures to keep people from being drunks or druggies. I don’t want this tyranny of the “war on some drugs” we have today to continue getting even worse.
I want us to get back to employers, churches, social groups, and individuals shunning those that are not behaving properly. Unfortunately, the liberals want us to accept any and all behaviors except conservative behaviors. To a liberal: Want to smoke pot and act badly, go for it; want to read the Bible on school grounds at recess, no way.
I don’t associate with drunks or druggies. They are always more problem than they are worth.

Amen to that.

We can't MAKE people behave or help others. That ole "free will" sometimes convinces people to always take the easy path, the low road.

Some folks of that ilk think that they are OWED the free meals, free housing (title 8, I think) and free medical. No doubt SOMEone inculcated that lie into their brains.

The current marijuana plants are anything but “your parents’ marijuana;” stuff grown today is far more addictive and psychoactive, thanks to higher levels of thc, tetrahydracannabinol, the chemical that makes you “high.”

That is so true, and this Cannabis Cup was drug dealers business convention on "how to" lace, grow, buy, sell, and profit from everything related to Cannabis.

This is what the new genetically modified pot looks like today.

THC occurs naturally in the marijuana plant in ranges of 0.5–3%. The form of marijuana known as sinsemilla (female derivative) can have a THC content of up to 17%. In hash it is commonly accepted that THC levels range from 5%-15%. Thr Cannabis Cup was celebrating pot with Kush, whatever that is, and some government made non-chemical plant with 24% THC.

Biocare

Denver Medical Cannabis Cup

Finally...a non–Chem D family member cracks the list! And wouldn’t you know it, she’s a G-13 x White Widow. The G-13, engineered by the US government’s medical project at the University of Mississippi, was always said to possess the highest levels of THC available at the time, and crossing those genetics with the legendary White Widow should only boost the case for a Top 5 inclusion. Entered by Biocare at the 2011 Denver Cup, this strain hit nearly 24% THC, giving her a definite “one-hit wonder” status. http://www.hightimes.com/read/earths-strongest-strains-2012

A lot of them are ther because cannabis is their business/work. People are making great money out of these “medical dispensaries” and the black market is still alive and well because they don’t require Rx, and they don’t pay taxes, so they are cheaper. It’s all about the benjamins.

I would be interested in seeing how much they balance the budget in Colorado. Ever since Maryland began gambling, it has been thriving financially.

Nice to see babysitters, surgeons and bus drivers stoned. I’m sure they can be competent while stoned enjoying the high.

Different drug, but the concept is still the same.

Frank Zappa - Cocaine Decisions

Chop a line now...
Cocaine decisions...
You are a person with a snow-jon
You got a fancy gotta go job
Where the cocaine decisions that you make today
Will Mean that millions somewhere else
Will do it your way

Cocaine decisions...
You are a person who is high class
You are a person not in my class
And the cocaine decisions that you make today
Will mean nothing later on
When you get nose decay

I don’t wanna know
‘Bout the things that you pull
Outta your nose
Or where they goes
But if you are wasted
From the stuff you’re stickin’ in it
I get madder every day
‘Cause what you do ‘n’ what you say
Affects my life in such a way
I learn to hate it every minute!

Cocaine decisions...
You are a doctor or a lawyer
You got an office with a foyer
And the cocaine decisions that you make today
Will not be discovered till it’s over ‘n’ done
By the customers you hold at bay

Cocaine decisions...
You are a movie business guy
You got accountants who supply
The necessary figures
To determine when you fly
To Acapulco
Where all your friends go

Cocaine decisions...
We must watch the stuff you make
You have let us eat the cake
While your accountants tell you Yes Yes Yes
You make EXPENSIVE UGLINESS
(How do you do it? — Let me guess...)
Cocaine decisions...
Cocaine decisions...
Cocaine decisions...
