So if you “freep” the poll and get the results you want, who is it that you think will take the poll seriously?

It prevents the left from using it for their purposes, if nothing else.

But a Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press poll released earlier this month shows most New Jerseyans want to keep Obamacare.

About 60 percent of those polled say they want the law improved, while 7 percent said the law is fine as is. But all of them — 67 percent — would oppose an effort to repeal it. That is 8 percent higher than the findings of a national poll by Kaiser Health last month.

Only 28 percent of those polled in the New Jersey survey say they want the law repealed or replaced.

Just goes to show that a leftist polling organization can manipulate the wording of questions, the sample of subjects asked the question, and/or the numbers they actually receive in order to make the published results come out in their favor!

So, 60 want it amended, 28 want it repealed, so, 88 percent of NJ want it changed or repealed, only 7 percent want it left the way it is. Thanks justiceseeker93.

But that's not the way the lefty pollsters expressed the result! They emphasized the 60 percent that allegedly want to maintain and improve it, which is pretty much the position of 'Rats running in this year's congressional elections.

So it looks to the low-info types that the 'Rats have a very popular campaign theme. Therefore, nothing bad about voting 'Rat again.

That's exactly the psychology the lefty pollsters wish to trigger here.

Whether the poll ends up in favor of the left or the right, no one is going to take it seriously. When was the last time you heard Fox News or any other news organization refer to an online poll?

Online polls are obviously about as flawed as a public opinion poll can possibly be because the participating subjects self-select themselves and can vote as many times as they with. So even the MSM shy away from reporting the results. These polls are only for venting in cyberspace, and should never claim to have any validity as a measure of true public opinion.

Exactly. I’ve never understood how so many of us here can get so worked up over “freeping” an online poll.

How about the supposition that the majority of the people who live in New Jersey are just plain dumb liberals and welfare aholes and parasites?

All I have to say is “Trenton, Camden, Newark, Atlantic City, Union City, etc.”
