“We’re making progress but we need to do more,” McCarthy said.
However, an investigation published by Chicago Magazine claims that the “progress” is an illusion. The article says that under pressure from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago cops have been reclassifying murders and violent crimes. The result is a nearly unprecedented drop in numbers.
"This is a betrayal of public trust in a sense that Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Superintendent Garry McCarthy are public servants. They are paid by our tax dollars and we deserve in return truth from them,” said Elizabeth Fenner, Editor in Chief of Chicago Magazine.
McCarthy responded that the article is “patently false” and he criticized the near total reliance on anonymous sources. “I'm troubled by it because it hurts our credibility while we're trying to build our credibility," he said.
Once again, they both continued to insist the problem would not be solved without toughening up gun laws.

One would think the murder stats would be the hardest to fudge. You still have bodies in the morgue.

Guess that the 2A is still considered “illegal” in Chicago. McCarthy is a Masshole, so it figures he doesn’t respect the Constitution. As far as Emanuel is concerned, when you watch him and his rotten brother, Zeke, you have to believe that they should have drowned the whole litter.

Some years ago in new york city, the police were ticketing people for the most silliest and frivolous reasons (one guy got ticketed for sitting on a milk crate. A woman got ticketed for talking to her neighbor in the hallway of their apartment building. Etc.). It was getting quite common.
Because of this the police were accused of ticket quotas. The police denied it and put out figures which showed that they were giving out less tickets than the years before. The ny daily news came to the defense of the police, citing the numbers the police department put out, stopped their coverage of people getting ticketed for dumb reasons, and declared the matter closed.
Months later it came out that the police department had given out phony numbers regarding the tickets. In fact the real numbers showed that they had indeed given out more tickets that year than any other year. There was no outrage. No scandal. No resignations or firings. No investigation. No nothing. The ny daily news had nothing to say about being lied to by the nyc police department.

Well, it’s obvious to Raum Emanuel that the guy shot five times in the back committed suicide. And same as the guy who went swimming with concrete boots. So also with the lady who accidentally slit her throat. You just have to know how to look at those bodies.
They play games with race as well.
These politicians rule over the people especially in liberal towns like Chicago & NYC. Working people have to long hours to pay the high taxes to support unproductive people; so, they do not really have time to follow politics closely. And the rest of the people live on the public dole; so, they do not want to elect anyone who is going to upset the status quo.
Most of the media is in the pocket of the politicians as well and they definitely want to keep the politicians happy. Meanwhile, career politicians and their supporters keep hardworking people like Herman Cain (just to name one example) out of office using slanderous ad campaigns in order to maintain their political position & power. These politicians buy votes by promising more handouts even though they have no money in their budgets creating huge budget deficits; thus, they are taking money from future generations that will have to pay those debts.
The morgue is run by the same government & no one is hanging around the morgue just to verify the body count, believe me!
The problem in Chicago has always been the Daley political machine. They have all of the money and they have seduced most of the population with promise of government handouts & ever-expanding social programs that never really fix anything.
They want the population dependent upon them for protection and everything else.
Until the people of Chicago start realizing that they have been deceived and stop voting for the “machine-approved” political candidates, very little there will change.
