No one believes more firmly in the legitimate profit motive, than I. Moreover, I am invested to capacity in Corporate stock--much of it in the doldrums, at the moment. So in no sense am I hostile to Corporations. But let us face an ugly truth. Those Republicans threatening to sell out the American people, by adopting a immigration bill, which puts the special interests of foreign peoples & corporate interests ahead of actual American interests, are responding to the myopic grasping demands of the management of some of our major corporations.

The tragedy is not in any sense alleviated by the fact that in their short-sighted overreach, that management is going to destroy that proverbial goose that laid the "golden egg" of American prosperity.

For how the fools are being played: Another Variation On Demonic Theme.

Like many of you, I will take an oath before the Almighty, never to vote for anyone who votes against us on this--Never! But if it goes through, as a student of history, I do not see us having many more free elections. The traditional political culture of America reflected a culture that in turn reflected--as is always the case--the specific people who created it. We are not a game of "musical chairs". The America that has been, reflected at all times the specific peoples who occupied the chairs. That is reality.

“This is how the GOP will throw the November election.”

They can’t allow the real rulers to take the bath they deserve.

Oddly enough it’s our “democracy” that brought us down. 535 elected representatives in the form of 435 US Representatives and 100 Senators over the past 60 years.

In Gingrich’s Contract with America, an America saving law got passed (term limits) but 9 corrupt lawyers on SCOTUS ruled the law unconstitutional.

And, make no mistake, this corruption runs deep in both parties. But 20, 40 and even 50 year politicians have destroyed this country over the past 60 odd years and became multi millionaires all while doing it.

So, what’s the solution?! I fear your right. It ain’t the ballot box. As Peter Schiff., a smart man, says it (collapse) is coming BEFORE the end of Obama’s term.

Tens of millions of people are going to hit the streets preying on the weak and their will be millions of them to prey on. It ain’t gonna be pretty!

Throwing all 535 out in the street and having a military dictator for a tme pending a rewrite of the Constitution is the only solution I can see. Then, most of this debt will have to be negotiated by a tough, tough and experienced team headed by someone like Trump not a housewife like Sebelius.

As for the dictator, it will be the guy (probably one of our generals or admirals) with balls enough to march on DC in command of a few divisions of troops and take over JUST to stop the anarchy (imagine a million simultaneous Bunkervilles).

Trust me, I don’t want to see any of the foregoing but it is time for dispassionate and reasoned discussion of it because some of our generals and admirals already are “talking”.

Texas has one full time and one part time assistant working on a plan of what to do in Texas when the inevitable collapse propels reality upon us with unmerciful vengeance.

We already see the US Gov’t being ignored (Bunkerville). This is because the US government doesn’t obey it’s own laws and the people are finally waking up and getting angry. I predict that when the Feds are simply ignored, and villainous millions of people are robbing and looting and raping and killing in the streets that “secession” will just sort of happen as State Governments take up where the US Government failed and people in each of the states say No More to liberals and centralized DC Government.

Texas is already there. It just needs the trigger.

There really is no point in “GOPe”

It’s the GOP.

They are actively trying to stab this country in the back and rip the rug out from under citizens of this country.

The GOP needs to go.

“...Boehner said at a Las Vegas fundraiser...”

They are referring to Adelson’s disgusting spectacle of having GOP hacks grovel and supplicate themselves before a foreign country. Neocons are pushing HARD for amnesty behind the scenes, while being mostly quiet about it in the media and trying to whip up hysteria over Ukraine as a distraction. Look at Neocon Review Online, it’s one misleading screed about Ukraine and Russia after another. The only mention of immigration lately over there is a Victor Davis Hanson article that advocates amnesty and calls deportation “extreme.” That’s what National Review in 2014 is about.
