Facing Resignation Calls, Mississippi GOP Chairman Dubs Tea Party Leaders 'Fanatical'
Breitbart ^ | 15 Apr 2014 | Matthew Boyle

The chairman of the Mississippi GOP, Joe Nosef,  reacted angrily to Tea Party groups calling for his resignation this week, accusing one local activist of secretly working to elect Democrats and saying some “fanatical” Tea Party groups could jeopardize the GOP's hold on a senate seat in one of the most Republican states in the nation, according to emails obtained by Breitbart News.

In the emails, Joe Nosef, the chairman of the Mississippi Republican party, told Mississippi Tea Party president Janis Lane that “help[ing] Democrats win...appears to be your goal.”

Nosef also emailed to a list of Republicans that the groups calling for his head were so crazy they could imperil the GOP's hold on Sen. Thad Cochran's senate seat.

“These people are getting so fanatical [that] this will put everything in danger regardless of who wins” the upcoming GOP primary, he wrote, adding, “I refuse to continue to spend time dealing with these people.”

The incendiary emails – and their being leaked to Breitbart News by an anonymous source – are the latest escalations in an erupting primary battle that pits the Yazoo City machine of lobbyist Haley Barbour and veteran appropriator Cochran against the upstart state senator Chris McDaniel and the conservative outside groups that are pouring in resources to support him.

After Lane called for Nosef's resignation Monday over negative comments Nosef made about McDaniel in national media, a series of local Tea Party groups followed suit.

But Nosef, in comments to Breitbart News Tuesday, called the mounting calls for him to quit “silliness.”

Fanatical in that they want to return the rule of law back to the land, get rid of tyrants in power that are doing much harm to us and our families, and put oeopl in power that will actually start doing things that will help our country? Then color me a fanatic!

Notice the Tea Party has not tried to directly involve the GOP? Probably because most of the GOP are on the other side.

GOPe leaders are so banal and obtuse that anyone with any integrity, intelligence and purpose is fanatical by comparison.

Those that blast the Tea Party are really only blasting concerned citizens that have mobilized against traitors in our midst that originated from foreign powers that are using subterfuge while pretending to be us in order to fool the uninformed LIVs. Why don’t the politicians blast the liberals and progressives that are mobilizing just the same to dissect The Constitution and its rights, destroy the family unit, remove the freedom to worship, and grant amnesty to illegals that are going to overwhelm the system and barely pay in any taxes, if any, to it?

Just examine the facts and timeline here ..... using the very words of the Mississippi gopE party chair who is doing the bidding of the "Yazoo City machine of lobbyist Haley Barbour" ....

Mississippi gopE chairman is very concerned about the candidacy of Chris McDaniel, jeopardizing fossil Thad Enough? Cochran so he attacks McDaniel subversively ....

"Nosef ... made negative comments about McDaniel in national media ..."

Tea Party Republicans cried foul and called him out that the Mississippi GOP chair would make negative comments about a GOP candidate in a primary ...

"Lane called for Nosef's resignation Monday over negative comments Nosef made about McDaniel in national media, and a series of local Tea Party groups followed suit."

So, in a flop sweat, Nosef went 'nuclear' on fellow Republicans ....

The chairman of the Mississippi GOP, Joe Nosef, reacted angrily to Tea Party groups calling for his resignation this week, accusing one local activist of secretly working to elect Democrats and saying some “fanatical” Tea Party groups could jeopardize the GOP's hold on a senate seat

Resorting to calling a legitimate GOP challenger as "working to elect Democrats" and "fanatical" is no way to win Mississippi.

Nosef also emailed to a list of Republicans that the groups calling for his head were so crazy they could imperil the GOP's hold on Sen. Thad Cochran's senate seat.

Aha! And there you have it! The Haley machine admits it's only about keeping THEIR power, not the people's or conservatism.

Does this mean that the current head of the MS GOP won’t support the winner of the Republican primary if he is anyone other than Thad Cochran? Wow.

I miss the days of Miss Evelyn running things.

Prayers are always welcome! Thanks for reminding us all to keep Dr. O and onyx and their entire family in our prayers at this time! If I were closer, I would seek them out just to give a hug or to hold a hand as we ask God for healing and guidance.

Hubby, Mikey, and I recently met with the family of a head trauma patient at the request of one of Mikey’s caregivers when he was in ICU. This family was as much of an encouragement to us as we were to them. The mom repeated to us over and over again that we should all meditate on Philippians 4—the whole chapter. It is such an encouraging chapter! The nurses in the ICU had made a poster of Phil. 4:13 and signed it for this teenager who was still in a coma and not coming out of it as quickly as Mikey had. The mom was holding fast to God’s Word to see them all through their ordeal. I know that regardless of our personal outcomes that God is in control and that He will see us through. And the peace and strength that God provides during tough times comes from prayer. I felt it throughout Mikey’s hospitalization. And I pray for Dr. O and onyx to feel it, too.

That says it perfectly. Just think, we're the "fanatics", when they shake hands with the devil-the side which has people fired for their private religious and/or ethical views on sodomy, etc.
