And, again, the one Republican who’s making his opposition to Amnesty the centerpiece of his campaign is doing the best with Hispanics (out of the 3 Republicans).

This is not a surprise.

I have seen two polls of legal Hispanics. In both, they opposed amnesty by about 2-to-1 (roughly 60/32). And, why not, they are legal, they are Americans!

There is, indeed, a lesson here for the GOP-e on how to claim a larger share of the Hispanic vote.

None of the legal, established Mexican Texans I know are for amnesty.
