On today's Morning Joe, Zbigniew Brzezinski argued that the US needs to discuss with Ukraine the provision of defensive weapons in the face of the Russian threat. He then mockingly observed: "the Ukrainians did ask us for help in that regard. Do you know what our answer has been? We offered them prepackaged food for their soldiers. Well, you can't win a military conflict by throwing pancakes at somebody." The laughter on the normally Obama-friendly set should still be ringing in the President's ears. View the video

Apparently in order to permit him to proceed the NH Republicans lowered the ticket prices to just cover expenses so it wouldn’t be considered a fundraiser. I think Joe is enjoying his moment in the sun but it won’t last long. He knows he’d be lucky to get 1-2% in an actual caucus/primary.

Thank you both. I’m at a disadvantage with the names of some of the newer nattering nabobs because A: I turned my satellite tv off nearly a year ago and strangely have yet to miss it and B: I would only watch the mainstream media if held at gunpoint.
A new standard for failure is now established: it shall, be known as Obamas Throwing Pancakes Moment. That surpasses Carters Malaise.
