LAS VEGAS -- Local rancher Cliven Bundy may have his cattle back, but his supporters say they are still preparing for an imminent threat.

Militia groups from all over the country say they are flocking to the Bundy ranch to protect the family from a feared federal government raid.

The Bureau of Land Management allowed Bundy to release his cattle Saturday, after they felt threatened.

Bundy now has a whole contingent of armed guards surrounding him 24 hours a day.

"They're just there, trying to make sure something crazy doesn't happen to him," Bundy's son Ammon Bundy said.

His security detail and family feel he is someone to be protected because of what the federal government could do.

Can someone here explain to someone with absolutely NO knowledge
of militias, how they formed and how do they as a group accept a person
to become a part of them without being infiltrated by someone reporting
back to the government???

I’ve had a bad feeling since about September 2008.

It’s so sad that we BELIEVE the federal government should be feared. Then again, maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe people are waking up.

But I also want to point out that’s it not just the feds. This tyranny goes all the way down to small town cops.

But I’m talking months, perhaps years. Because the feds have done this, they have essentially made Bundy a political prisoner. His ranch needs guarding 24/7 from a powerful entity with unlimited funds who can swoop in at a moment’s notice.

If we want to secure the freedoms and liberties of the last rancher in Nevada, we need action on behalf of the state, a groundswell of pro-state’s rights sentiment. It doesn’t help that the Nevada Republican Party just effectively issued a letter of surrender to the Democrats, but it is still possible to get the state to intervene and offer defense for the Bundy ranch. It is, at base, the state’s duty which it is failing to fulfill.

The NSA will scan their license plates, the IRS will audit them, the ATF will raid their homes for illegal guns......

This entire government is on the verge of collapse. It's just a matter of time. Whenever a country is past the ability to even borrow, and then has to print money out of 'thin air', it's over. There are rumors floating around that even this is an attempt to trade the Chinese our land for the trillion in US debt they hold.

It's the same ploy they've used on other countries, trapping them in debt then taking their resources. Now it's our turn.

It’s a lot bigger than a few hundred corrupt individuals. Our government has been bought a paid for by a lot of different entities.

Everyone is cashing in. From local politicians all the way up to all three branches of the federal government.

The BATF sure got their asses handed to them in Waco. But they got even when their compadres from the FBI, and the army, went in with tanks. Then McVeigh hit them back with fertilzer.

It’s basically been quiet since then. The one thing going for the people is the internet. Can you imagine how Ruby Ridge and Waco would have turned out if they had the internet.

Well I totally agree with you but I mean there is no good way forward for them to press their harrassment of the Bundy’s.

Judge Napolitano is right they should just put a lien on the ranch and when it gets sold eventually they will get their money.

For whatever reason the govt is just not able to walk away from this. They are going to screw around until they actually kick off CWII.

Super good point. Where is Larry Klayman?

If they have a judgment, they have a lien. They just don’t want to wait.

Remember the scene where Hopper was explaining how they needed to keep all the ants intimidated, as although one ant, like a single seed couldn’t hurt you, but millions...?

It’s a lot bigger than a few hundred corrupt individuals.

The bigger problem is in DC. We need Citizen Representatives from every county in the nation - NOT these few hundred paid for professional politicians. That would give us around 3,500 Representatives paid by the local people instead, and voting and working from their county seats instead of Washington, IMO.
