MOAPA, NV U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV) joined representatives from the Moapa Band of Paiutes, executives from First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), as well as other community, government and energy industry leaders to celebrate the start of construction of the 250 Megawatt (MW)AC Moapa Southern Paiute Solar Project. The project is located on the Moapa River Indian Reservation just north of Las Vegas, and has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the LADWP to deliver clean, solar energy for 25 years to the City of Los Angeles.
Todays event marks a very import milestone for Nevada, the Moapa Band of Paiutes, and tribal nations throughout the country, said Reid. The Moapa Southern Paiute Solar project is the first utility-scale solar project on tribal land and will deliver much needed economic benefits to the Tribe and Nevada. It will also create about 400 construction jobs, and replace dirty energy with clean solar power.

Not sure if this is the same solar plant that is the center of the Bundy ranch dispute.

He most certainly does...and likely a fairly significant investment in them as well Id bet. ...at least the ones built by Americans.
The Red Chinese projects likely only offer him a massive kickback....

If Reid’s sons get a commission for every solar plant that’s built in Nevada, their net worth is sure to skyrocket.

250 MW for L.A.? That's like spittin' in the ocean.
I hope Reid is heavily invested in it and then they find an endangered species.

What happened to the endangered Desert Tortoises lived on the land where the Landmark Power Plant will be built?
BTW, Reid isn’t wearing a safety helmet, and thus is in violation of OHSA Regulations.

It's probably to help power Reid's high speed train from LA to Vegas. Somehow this picture reminds me of bad grave digging pics
