Sheriff: Feds strategize for 'raid' on ranch [Sheriff Mack]
WND ^ | April 14, 2014

Warning follows threat from Harry Reid that grazing dispute 'not over'

The chief of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association says his sources inside the federal government are warning that Washington’s weekend retreat in a dispute over grazing land in Nevada was just to distract and defuse – because a raid on the family’s ranch still is being strategized.

And there probably would be violence involved, said Richard Mack, the former sheriff of Grisham County, Ariz.

“I don’t think it would be possible” to launch a raid without violence, he told WND Monday. “I don’t the Bundys would lie down and be taken.”

He cited the threat from Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., that the confrontation was far from over, despite the weekend’s retreat by armed gunmen working for federal agencies.

Reid on Monday told KRNV-TV in Reno. “It’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”

Clark County returned his payments stating they could not accept them as they did not have control over the land. Bundy also claims he is not a citizen of the United States, but rather a citizen of Nevada. Huh? What? So he was paying fees to a foreign government prior to 1993?

Come on. Give me a break here.

I don’t know about that...I only found the stuff about the open range court decisions from just 20 or so years ago.

Ya find it a bit odd the Feds have now spent upwards of 30 million tax dollars importing and flying in hired guns, cattle herders, helicopters, hundreds of government vehicles, personnel etc, all for 1 million they alleged the rancher owes for cow food?

Obama pledged to “Fundamentally transform the United States of America.”

Obama has perfected the arrogant manner of the tyrant that he needs to be to crush the financial strength of America, and thanks to cowardly, doormat Republicans such as Boehner and McConnell, Obama has won every battle against them.

Obama will “fundamentally transform” anyone in America who gets in his way, - - - especially those who are good at working the land for a living.

Rancher Bundy is one of the last Cattle Ranchers in his county in Nevada.

The combined brute force of the Federal Bureaus, Courts, Senate, and Administration have for the last 5 years so far crushed all in their way, and Rancher Bundy will be no exception, unless - - - you know, - - - we all know - - - .

Are we a nation of laws or not?

Illegal Immigration

Benghazi

Obamacare (revenue measure initiated in Senate: unconstitutional unless a penalty)

Obamacare: Rewritten by SCOTUS to have a tax, not a penalty, which would be unConstitutional because the tax measure originated in the Senate instead of the House) SCOTUS isn't supposed to write laws, just rule on them.

Obamacare: rewritten by executive fiat, exemptions made (equal protection); exemptions denied on First Amendment grounds.

IRS used to target Conservative groups, anti-voter fraud groups, and individuals affiliated with them, almost exclusively as opposed to Liberal nonprofits.

Fast and Furious

No credible records released concerning the provenance of the occupant at 1600 PA Ave.; every case dismissed for lack of 'standing', even though campaign interviews for that occupant when he ran for Senate claimed he was a Kenyan.

These are just a few high points, but ...Are we a nation of laws or not?

You tell me. Considering Reid's ties to the Chinese Solar outfit, why this land, why now?

If you or I had owned that land, the Bundys would have had a solid case for having it awarded to them for adverse possession (Squatter's rights).

The bottom line, however, is that Bundy's situation, whether born of right or wrong, on whomever's part, has become symbolic of Government attacks on the Liberty of Americans, right down to attacking one of the most enduring symbols of freedom in America: the cowboy.

When you add in that very credible thought that this is mainly being done there and now to grease the skids for foreign interests to make a buck and likely enrich a politician's family considered by many to be thoroughly corrupt, the symbol will prevail over any facts which may have been to the contrary, because people do not trust the government.

Overt violent action by the government will light the fuse on the powder keg, anything which can be suspected of foul play by the Government will add powder.

Whether you agree with Bundy is as immaterial as whether you agreed with the Branch Davidians or Randy Weaver, the ball is in the Government's court, and what they do and how they do it will determine the immediate outcome.

Just enrages me even further...I am so committed to getting heavily involved in the next election. Whatever it takes.

This country is barely surviving under the current Marxist.

Oh! Got it.

But still I think Clinton did a ton of landgrabbing in the west - I remember the concern about it then.

We won’t starve without Bundy’s cows. All he had to do was pay the grazing rights - it’s not much and he could still have made a profit just like my neighbor.

*********************************************************
That sentence shows that you didn’t understand the point I was trying to make. I am not saying anything about heroes, heck, I didn’t even say the guy was 100% right.

But he’s not 100% wrong either. And my main point was that of the poor judgement of the government, highhanded methods of the government, the disengeiousness of the government, and the fact that the BLM stated and appeared to be ready to kill men, women and children over tresspassing - which last I heard was not a capital offense.

From the government’s own comments, they had other legal recourse, but instead they decided on an unwise course of action. As far as support, Bundy seemed to have plenty.

Now I could go on about mistakes etc that Bundy has made, and things that he could have or should have done differently, but that was not my concern either.

My concern is an overreaching Fedzilla and their minions who are more and more willing to treat the men, women, and children citizens of the USA like gun fodder over Tresspassing.

Meanwhile they allow Millions of illegals to tresspass all over the country, which includes criminals, drug cartels, slavers, and people with contagious diseases.

All of which is more threatening and harmful than a bunch of cows tresspassing and also costs the taxpayers a whole bunch more money that the measly fees for mediation.

Well, Bundy ain’t my kid nor is he kin, so his behavior is not my responsibility. However, what the government does is my responsibility, because they are supposed to be serving me and all the millions of other citizens, and I do care how they do whatever job they are supposed to be doing, and they ain’t exactly coming up smelling like roses.

Now, thanks for your opinion, but to me there’s lots more to this than he should have paid his fees. Obviously, you can’t get beyond that. It takes 2 to tango, and Bundy ain’t perfect, but neither is the government.

Now I am done with the coversation, because there is no point to it. It will likely just lead to both of us repeating various statements adnauseum, and then someone start getting personal and resorts to name calling. So I’m done. Have a nice night.

What McVeigh was convicted of doing was the worst possible thing at the worst possible time. It seriously damaged the Militia movement by the time the MSM was done spinning it, and seriously impacted the investigation into Waco, and may have delayed the removal of Assault Weapons Ban until it sunset.

It's the over-regulation once they gain enough control.

I watched it happen to healthcare. Eventually they had enough control with federal coverage that they began to dictate what the docs could choose for treatment and how much they could charge.

We need Ted Cruz SOOOO badly.

not going to happen, not now. they may attempt to “talk to him” if he appears off his land or unaccompanied by his entourage.

he isn’t wanted for a federal criminal beef to my knowledge.

its an election year and there is a lot at stake.

I’ve been reading from the start of the thread. Far too much emotion instead of reasoned thinking taking place. At this point I’m debating breaking contact for the night. Emotional reactions get people killed at best and nations lost at worst. So far I haven’t read anything concerning the involvement of the Founders in land speculation companies. Someone on this thread must surely know that many of them were into land speculation and were resolved to eliminate the Crown from receiving benefit of control over the land in the Colonies. Well, so far no one has mentioned it anyway. Other than myself, just now. I’ll keep reading I suppose and see just who is a hothead and who is not.

I thank you for your support.
