Why Hillary v. Jeb Would Be Great for America
Daily Beast ^ | 4/13/14 | Mark McKinnon

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016?

When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens.

First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don't need more dynastic politics in this country."

But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country.

Let's review.

QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM.

I guess a headline with “Hillary & Jeb” is self-explanatory, hence no need for a BARF ALERT!

They’re both qualified? Because they’re both related to past presidents? That’s about all I see as quals for either of them. Running jeb would mean a shoe in for ANY demokkkrat they run.

Premise #1 -- America benefits when Liberals are in charge.
Premise #2 -- Hillary v. Jeb would be great for America

Don't accept their premises.

From Mark McKinnon, one of McCain’s handlers. Funny how the same old crowd of GOPe prognosticators keep telling us who is right for America.

Isn't The Daily Beast a tentacle of TIME magazine?

If so, does anybody really think the people behind TIME magazine give a flying fig about what's good for America?

Good for Hitler, yes, but for America? Bah.

Jeb will get great reviews in the press because he's the best choice for a Hillary win.
Even if Jeb should win, it's not a total loss for the left.

Jeb Bush, like McCain, looks beatable to the left. They’ll praise him until he clinches the nomination, then they’ll turn on the 24/7 hate machine and destroy him. What’s sad is that it works.

Voting for America's presidents has become an offshoot of the Army-Navy football game.....apparently that is how the MSM and uninformed citizens see it....and will try to ram it down American throats......

So a nice polite Bush will once again be a punching bag for the left..while praising their standard bearer. That’s a real formula for winning. Show them how nice we can be..it sure worked before.

Daily Beast is Newsweek, the Left is trying to select Jeb Bush for the GOP as this goes with some other articles in the same vein.

If bloodlines are the qualifier, how about a great-nephew of Ronald Reagan vs. a great-grandson of Harry Truman?
