You said, “I don’t see anyone banned for or from speaking about anything”, darling. And that sounds totally different than what both you and I saw Jim post.

I didn’t make that video. That video was put out by ABC - which you, at one point, said made it worthy of being in the “news” section. I’m simply pointing out what is there. Sort of like those who pointed out what was in the Bush memo that Dan Rather aired on TV. None of the “experts” took up that banner. They considered it “batsh!t crazy”.

They didn’t like the natural conclusion so they refused to admit the evidence into scrutiny. They let Rather’s claims stand but refused to submit his evidence to scrutiny. Just like ABC’s claims are allowed to stand (nothing to see here folks; the “birthers” are crazy) but an examination of ABC’s own EVIDENCE is forbidden. Right here on Free Republic.

If evidence that supports an “unacceptable” conclusion is not OK here then somebody better tell us what conclusions are OK so we make sure to regurgitate only the evidence that supports those conclusions.

And if only undisputed evidence is allowable then - like I said - FR will become very quiet. This isn’t about me. It’s about the role of evidence. Are we an evidence-based community, or are we an agenda-based community? If we don’t have the truth, or don’t care if we have the truth, then we’re no different than the politicians and ideologues that we claim to despise.

Reluctant I am to draw Jim into this again, but you kind of forced that move.

What I saw Jim post was that nutbattery ought not be posted here.

If you feel you are rubbing up against that then maybe you are posting nutbattery.

Sort of like those who pointed out what was in the Bush memo that Dan Rather aired

Years ago, different circumstances, not made-up and not you.

If evidence that supports an “unacceptable” conclusion is not OK

So far, your conclusions are made up from cotton candy and jacked-up images interpreted ignorantly.

And if only undisputed evidence is allowable then - like I said - FR will become very quiet.

Indeed. Without Alex Jones' truther crap and your invisible frogmen, we are doomed to obscurity.

If we don’t have the truth, or don’t care if we have the truth, then we’re no different than the politicians and ideologues that we claim to despise.

Even if that "truth" is nothing more than a fantasy in someone's head?

According to the story, Fuddy was picked up by Mark Peer, the rescue swimmer in the 2nd USCG helicopter to arrive there. The 2nd helicopter arrived on-scene at 4:54. Fourteen minutes before the media reported one dead.

In reality, the USCG report doesn’t have that helicopter picking up anybody from the water. The CAD communications have the USCG PLANE picking up somebody from the water at 4:35. But the plane claims it was flying at 1500 ft and had only 8 persons on board at all times.

IOW, none of the USCG aircraft admit to picking up Fuddy at any time. So how did she get picked up out of the water?

Somebody started to write a note in the USCG plane’s comm sheet at 4:39 but then they left the line blank. Something was happening then but they left that part out. I wonder why.

The USCG plane’s comm sheet - the on-scene commanders whose job was to keep track of all this stuff - says the first USCG helicopter pulled one person from the water, and that’s all they have record of ANY USCG aircraft retrieving. The CAD communications have the plane itself retrieving one, didn’t report how many the first helicopter had retrieved, and didn’t have the 2nd USCG helicopter retrieving anybody. Neither document matches what the USCG rescue swimmers told the media afterwards.

The claims in these reports are all REALLY screwed up. On all the major details.

These screwed-up reports are every bit as real as Lerner’s email.

How is looking more closely at what’s in an ABC video any different than looking more closely at what’s in an NBC “memo”?

And I would note that you mocked the images from the video but never earnestly said what those 5 images were, or the cylindrical stuff in the water, or the tube-type stuff, or anything.

I’ve noticed something about you, HG: you very rarely post substance. It’s easy to mock from the sidelines, a lot harder to put real skin in the game.

I don’t feel that what I’m posting is nutbaggery in any way.

Jim, did you tell me that if I thought it was nutbaggery I shouldn’t post it, or did you tell me not to post about Fuddy’s death? Or did you say something else?

HG and I seem to remember things a bit differently so maybe you can clarify.

Sheesh. Should have been:

“According to the story, Fuddy was picked up by Mark Peer, the rescue swimmer in the 2nd USCG helicopter to arrive there. The 2nd helicopter arrived on-scene at 4:54. Fourteen minutes AFTER the media reported one dead.”

You claim they "won't let you show it", so I really don't know.

And I would note that you mocked the images from the video but never earnestly said what those 5 images were,

Because I can't tell specifics about those images.
They suck. Splashy water chaos Go-pro camera suck in the sea.

the cylindrical stuff in the water, or the tube-type stuff, or anything.

Freud would have a ball with that imagery. Tubes and cylinders indeed.

I’ve noticed something about you, HG

I bite my nails.

you very rarely post substance

Which of my opinions would you like to hear about?

It’s easy to mock from the sidelines, a lot harder to put real skin in the game.

Like the ghost divers did? Or like you.. since someone said something mean on your blog?

Why do we let them get away with this? Why does the media get away with either burying or outright lying about the serious things going on in our country? Why do we play their game? We dance to whatever tune they play. Rush and the other talkers never break their own stories; they just piddle around with the stories the lamestream media wants us to piddle around with.

And it’s pretty close to that here too.

At some point we have to do more than sit on here and b!tch. When is the Texas AG going to file charges against Lois Lerner for crimes committed against constituents in his state? How do we Freepers make it happen?

Let’s roll.

The states are where the serious law enforcement has to happen.

But don’t hold your breath. The state AG’s are beholden to the media and to the rotten party players. It’s all one great big orgy of power.

If ever we needed the REAL power to have a grand jury, it’s now. Why doesn’t that ever seem to work?

Now that Lerner’s not in her position any more, could the Tea party sue her into bankruptcy in a civil lawsuit, at least?

I think it may be to your disadvantage to keep calling in Jim like that.

I mean, putting up with ME dogging your kookiness is one thing..
Do you really want the boss to smack you again? I wouldn't.

But hey.. you gotta go where your muse leads you, right?

You can’t tell anything from any of the 5 images I posted, which most people have acknowledged are people (with the exception of the image some here have claimed is a shoe and pants)?

It’s funny that when ABC posted the video I didn’t hear people wondering why ABC showed all this garbled junk, where you couldn’t even tell there were any people in the images...

People who had no trouble saying that this vague dark stuff must be Fuddy’s hair, or this little glimmer of purple must be her shirt.... somehow couldn’t see anything else in those images with enough clarity to be sure of anything - in spite of clear shapes, sizes, colors, connections, etc.

The cylinder is roughly the width of Yamamoto’s face. It has something tubular along its upper contour. It’s a bronze color. Those are objective observations. Anybody can come up with that much.

Somebody on my blog suggested it could be the container that sometimes holds the life jackets. But Puentes filmed himself getting the life jacket out of a paper packet inside the pocket of the seat in front of him, so it’s not that.

True story.

It’s funny that when ABC posted the video I didn’t hear people wondering why ABC showed all this garbled junk

So you showed the garbled junk as blurred screenshots.
THAT fixed it!

where you couldn’t even tell there were any people in the images...

And that cleared everything up for you, didn't it?

People who had no trouble saying that this vague dark stuff must be Fuddy’s hair, or this little glimmer of purple must be her shirt

Unlike those folks who saw extra people and skin divers.

in spite of clear shapes, sizes, colors, connections

Acid is a hell of a drug.

The cylinder is roughly the width of Yamamoto’s face.

Well, hell that has to prove SOMETHING. What cylinder?

It’s a bronze color.

So are those Kardashian whores.

Anybody can come up with that much.

Everybody poops, too.

Somebody on my blog suggested

Ok, you just lost me right there.
All that other stuff I could entertain as at least amusing.. but a BLOG?
