There is a pastime among liberal pundits — the latest is Nicholas Kristof — to quote a new center left global ranking (with unbiased titles such as “The Social Progress Imperative”) and then to decry that the United States is behind its major industrial competitors in things like “Internet Access” and “Ecosystem sustainability.” The subtext of these rants is that an illiberal, reactionary U.S. does not spend enough on government entitlements to promote parity, equality and social justice among its citizenry. These pessimistic rankings increase the angst about the American condition when viewed from scowling perches in Washington or New York.

LOL! Uh, yeah. Been to a few places overseas during my life and I’ve seen plenty of “ugly” Americans that for sure make the entire country look like a bunch of buffoons. If you don’t speak the language, talking more loudly doesn’t make the host residents understand. Then again I’ve seen others who make an attempt and are treated decently. (I was treated decently :>})
Our corporations are also to blame.
American corporations need to bring themselves back to America.
The problem is we have sent our industry to communist China.
Look everybody. Why get excited or upset about a “study” conducted by left wing, America haters.
We, naturally, have our faults and no denying that. However, I challenge the LEFT to name the country that is the hope and dream (STILL!!) of the “Poor, tired, huddled masses yearning to be free”.
Are the hordes of oppressed striving to migrate to China, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Northern Africa, Central Asia, most parts of Europe....need I go on. How many are risking like and limb to reach Cuba, Venezauala, or Central America?
I ask those of the LEFT, Given free choice, where would be willing to risk all to escape to?
But we are at or near #1 in a lot of things dear to liberals:
- Pansy-ass Presidents
- Men who think they are girls
- Women who think they are men
- Homosexual indoctrination in government schools
- State sanctioned abortions
- Building a bigger Moocher Society
- Destroying the military
- Most miles traveled by a president's spouse on taxpayer paid vacations
- Idiot leftists who protest petroleum while relying on petroleum powered transportation and electric.
