“Your father’s coming to see you,” Ann Dunham told her ten-year-old son Barack Obama, Jr. before a month-long Obama Sr. Christmas visit in 1971, as narrated in Dreams from My Father. Obama Sr.'s Hawaii visit, reportedly part of a "recuperation" after a "bad car accident" in Kenya, included "drives" around "the island," "short walks past" "the remodeled hospital where [Barack Jr.] had been born," and "a talk" to Barack Jr.'s fifth-grade class about "wild animals" that "roamed the plains" of Kenya. And, most importantly, Obama Sr.'s Hawaii visit gave credence that Obama Sr. was, in fact, Barack Jr.'s father.
1. A lesser-known photo, with a Daphne Barak credit and appearing on "anti-birther" websites, does show Obama Sr., Ann, and Barack Jr. at a "Christmas tree," but neither an "orange basketball" nor a "tie" is seen. Furthermore, Ann's arms are outstretched, handing a large Christmas present to Obama Sr., with the present balanced on two of her fingertips and on Obama's Sr.'s left hand – yet, simultaneously as Obama Sr.'s arms are crossed, he somehow hands a smaller Christmas present to Barack Jr., similarly balanced on both of Obama Sr.'s and Barack Jr.'s fingertips, even though Barack Jr.'s hand is awkwardly at his side and he is kneeling at a distance farther from Obama Sr. than a sitting Ann. 2. Two well-known photos associated with Obama Sr.’s 1971 visit, with an Obama for America credit, appeared in the following Obama biographies: Janny Scott's 2011 A Singular Woman, Sally Jacobs's 2011 The Other Barack, and David Maraniss's 2012 Barack Obama: The Story.

I’m not seeing much of a conspiracy in these pictures. While I do believe there are many shady parts of Obama’s history I just don’t see anything out of the ordinary. Two different cameras taken by two different people would explain the different effects of the camera where it shows different contrast and saturation. How many of us have had to stand for painfully long family portraits where someone else always pops out a new camera and say’s “OK now take one for me.” Different ISO speeds for the film and a different lens explain the back ground difference and contrast. These are going to be old crappy 40+ year old cameras after all. Anyone who has ever studied film photography knows the crappy photos that comes from shooting under fluorescent or sodium vapor lights.
The back ground Christmas tree actually looks like it was being moved or had fallen over, or was even being put up. Take a look, it looks like it is sitting on a pile of boxes and what was the top is now on the side. I have flown from this airport many times. And the only thing static in an international airport is the fat ass customs and immigration agents who take their sweet time.
The crooked shoulder is just a combination of shoulder pads and her hair.
The people in the back ground moving along explains the shifting back ground. It IS an international airport.
Go ahead freepers and flame away but I don’t see anything suspicious about these photos. I see pictures taken with an old junky instamatic camera with a moving back ground under fluorescent light.
I agree on the distortions of grandpa’s sleeve and hand.
In the second airport pic the fotog clearly stepped to the left. This changes the parallax and PoV of the pic. It would be the cause of the different placement of the tree. As for the ticket hadler. I don’t believe it’s the same guy in both pics. There could have been a change of shift or a break.. As for the gifting pic, while Barack the elder’s position seems odd it’s a physically possible pose. If he had offered the gift to Barky first and then Dunham lifted her gift to him he would have reached awkwardly with his free hand. I really don’t think there’s anything to see here.
Big Stanley did have big hands, but just how long his forearm was is hard to say. If his elbow is behind the bench, the angle at which the hand is positioned could be different than if his elbow is between the bench and BO.
What I was getting at was that Barack Obama's hand was faked in the the park bench photo posted on this thread, and I doubt Obama's people were behind the picture. Just who did it and why is anybody's guess, but somebody did try to mislead other people.
I think that was done by someone trying to emphasize Barry’s Muslim gay-wedding ring. I assume it was posted on this particular thread by mistake.
It is physically impossible for gramps hand to be where it is, the hand is much too high for the position of the shoulder. Put your hand out in a position similar, and you will see your shoulder is forced into a position MUCH different than the one gramps is in. It fairly obvious that in the original of this picture, gramps was next to toots, and had his hand on her shoulder. Someone split the two and put Obama in the middle.

The parallax “analysis” is incompetent, amateurish, and wrong.
I have no position on whether or not the photos are genuine or not, and moreover, i don’t care. But I do like to call out crap when I see it, and I see it here, in this utterly inane and bogus “analysis”.

I've always been fascinated by the presence of the possibly filipino/polynesian girl snuggled into his right, which the numerous fake lei have been placed to hide...I think what we are looking at is the same visit. 1970/71
One image of him with Stanley Ann at the airport at departure, and one with Stanley Armour Dunham and his East-West acquaintances on arrival. Same year. The back row might be Union members, he did have a following from the ILWU:
